Teenage Pregnancy

Teenage pregnancy is the bearing of child without the full awareness of responsibility.
Most of those who have a case like this are aged 15 and over due to lack of knowledge. It
is recognized as one of the biggest problems in the Philippines that young people
nowadays can no longer avoid. According to Philippine Statistic Authority, Philippines
has the second highest rate of teenage mother. The number of pregnant children
continues to rise and this can lead to an increase in the population in a country.
According to the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, nearly 1 in 4 teen
mothers will experience another pregnancy within two years of having their first.
Mostly the cases like this are the one who didn’t go to school or the one who get
dropout. Unwanted pregnancies are mostly happened in this generation, it can never be
happening unless both individuals meet. Aside from this, being pregnant at an early
aged is frequently unplan which some woman thinks about abortion, seeing this right,
“aborting the child” when thinking about it the child is innocent.
