152 Chapter 6 Installation Requirements 6.1 Basic Requirements 6.1.1 Hazardous Locations. Components ofthe electrical por- tons of water spray systems dhat are installed in classified loca- tions as defized in Article 500 of NFPA 70, National Electrical Code, shall be listed for such use. 6.1.2 Electrical Clearances. 6.1.2.1. Allsystem components shall be located so as to main- tain minimum electrical clearances from live pars. 6.1.2.2 ‘The electrica! clearances in Table 6.1.2.2 shall apply to aecudes of 1000 m (3300 ft) oF less ‘Table 6.1.2.2 Electrical Clearance from Water: Equipment to Live Uninsulated Electrical Components Nominal Maximum System System Design Minimum” Clearance Voltage Voltage BIL avy “ym To1ss 45 018 7 230 243 150 10 345 365 300380 13 469 483-5048.
