They are important because as a sales professional we need to find and cultivate new sales leads
and form new relationships with potential clients and customers. In any organization, the sales
department plays a pivotal role of sales is to bridge the gap between the potential customers
needs and the products/services that the organization offers that can fulfill their needs.

 Assess your costumers against each criterion.
 Give a score of between 1 ( very low ) to 10 ( very high ).
 Apply a weight too if some criteria are more important than others.
 Disregard irrelevant criteria or substitute your own.
 Add up each customers total score
 Customers with the highest scores are the key accounts.

This will help me evaluate my customers against the growth harmony and value creation factors, I
get a very different view of who is my most valuable one.

3. How to maintain active database


‘ keep all data in one central program
Provide insight into your data by using clear descriptive names, tabs, and definitions of data
Keep your database complete by adding new information directly
Keep your database up to date
Allow your profiles access to their own data with an edit form or a URL
