Spes Paragraph:

What is the major flaw in Romeo and Juliet, and where does that flaw show up in the
choices and partnerships in the text?

Romeo and Juliet's crucial flaw is that they act too quickly and use no consideration in
their plans. For example Romeo and Juliet got married without consideration because they acted
too quickly. “Come, come with me, and we will make short work, For, by your leaves, you shall
not stay alone Till Holy Church incorporate two in one.” (Act 2, Scene 6, Line 35-37). This
shows that Friar Laurence married the both of them. No one knew but them and Friar Laurence
that they were married because they did it in secrecy. Overall this is important because this was
how all the arguments mostly started because Romeo and Juliet were married and eventually
they ended up killing themselves.
