Jack, the man begging for Dr.

Rachel's help, is actually her childhood best friend whom she never saw
again after they entered into separate universities in college. Jack was speaking uncontrollably fast and
incomprehensible; though he doesn't always speak that way. On the other hand, Dr. Rachel was as calm
as always. It was very troubling for her to be reunited with her long lost friend this way, but she had to
act professionally especially in this time. Pressed for time, she ordered one of the nurses beside her to
lead Jack and his companion to room 108.

The nurse made them walk the long bright corridors of the hospital, and when they were at the
intersection, the nurse turned left and they arrived at their destination.

Jack was trying his best to remain calm and composed in spite of the situation. He was even whistling
and humming to distract himself from the horrific accident that happened to one of his girlfriends. He
finally looked at the sign above the door, opened the door, and strode over...

The man behind Jack walked closer, and in a joking manner, he insensitively uttered: "Wow! It is such a
rare and amazing opportunity to get to see one another in an awkward situation such as this." This man
was in the belief that Dr. Rachel and Jack are ex lovers.

Dr. Rachel ignored it; she didn't answer the man's remark. She quietly entered room 108 as if she didn't
hear a thing.

The man was Michael, he was once a neighbor of Dr. Rachel during their childhood. He had a secret
crush on her up until this moment but he has no courage to tell anyone about it. The three of them are
acting like they do not know each other; pretending that they are strangers. Michael was a bit hurt
when Dr. Rachel ignored him, so he just followed her and walked beside her quietly and reluctantly. As
he was following her, Michael was paying close attention to the way Dr. Rachel walks and how her figure
looked very sexy as she sways in her white gown. He thought that anyone who looked at her would
think that she was a beauty. Michael even had some jealous thoughts as to why there are many
beautiful women around Jack.

Michael suddenly got caught in a daydream. He was trapped in an imagery of Dr. Rachel. He was in awe
while appreciating every bit of beauty and exquisite and refined features of Dr. Rachel. He even
describes her eyes as clear as water which could see through his very soul. However, her calm and
reserved character make people think that she is unenergetic and boring. In his mind, Michael was
sighing in regret: "Such a pity!"
Jack had carefully laid the injured woman in the hospital bed when Dr. Rachel entered the room.

Two of the nurses had already finished cleaning and treating the woman's wounds. They had also
prepared the tools needed by Dr. Rachel for the operation; and are now ready and waiting for further
orders from the doctor.

Dr. Rachel had always known that Jack was always popular with the girls; that he attracts their attention
wherever he goes. He was a bit dishevelled today, but even the good doctor is having a hard time
concentrating on the patient as Jack is present inside the room.
