Machine – Dental chair

Location – Chilavathurai, Mannar

Observations –

 The light module seems altered from its original electrical design.
 The main light was connected to transformer directly bypassing fuse and dedicated light control
circuit.
 Light module has a broken light connector and bulb is missing.
 Multiple patches seen in the system wiring.
 Many connectors are cut and seems open.
 x-ray film viewer is not working.
 Micromotor is not working.
 Light control switch is missing in the instrument tray panel.
 Control circuit in the instrument tray control panel corroded and not in working condition.
 Chair movements are working in control tray switch and foot switch and not working in back
panel.

Recommendations-

 Instrument tray control panel circuit need to be replaced.

 Light control circuit need to be replaced.
 Wiring need to be done again for light and other missing wires and fuse line need to be
established again.
 Back panel switch need be rewired
