αηνογεννήηπια: Klafs MK 5.
All pipes for water, waste water and heating system must be checked for tightness before con-
nection takes place.
Furthermore all pipes have to be rinsed out in order to guarantee that no foreign substances
can get into the outlet elements and the whole technical installations of Klafs units.
Waste water pipes must be connected professionally with sealing rings and in the required
slope.
Power supply:
Control Line: 230 V / 50 Hz
Sauna heaters 400 V / 50 Hz
Evaporator: 400 V / 50 Hz
Heating pump: 230 V / 50 Hz (for heating distributor)
Lights: 230 V / 50 Hz (for spot transformer)
as specified on the M/E drawings.
All customer supplied lines need to be protected by RCD (0.03A) fault circuit breaker fuse and
potential bonding conductor according to VDE DIN 0100.
For the conductor cross section the length of line and surrounding temperature need to be
considered according to VDE DIN 0100 parts 430 and 523.
All lines need to be protected by fuses separately according to DIN < 0,03 A. RCD switch.
Klafs recommends a separate (electrical) service cabinet in the plant room.

Emergency button:
Emergency line from transducer to emergency system with signal.
Water supply:
Evaporator: R1/2" cold water with ball valve 1/2"
Water hose: R1/2" cold or mixed water with ball valve 1/2".
Waste Water:
Evaporator: NW 40
Condensation drain: NW 40
Floor drain: Size, number and location according to Klafs M/E
drawings, with trap correctly mounted and sealed.
Heating system:
Supply/return: Pipes 3/4" connected with 0,4 bar differential pressure at 400 L/h primarily onto
the distributor. The pressure of the customers system may not be above 6 bar. Floor heating to
be connected to Klafs distributor. All year supply temperature 50°C. (for heated walls a tempera-
ture of 70°C is needed).
If warm water is not available all year Klafs could provide electrical heated mats (for benches)
and a electrical driven cartridge to heat the water circuit (for walls). There is no floor heating
system needed for the wooden cabins.
Floor:
Floor construction with a complete load distribution layer made of concrete composition
(screed). Screed with slope, sealing and protective screed.
Residual moisture to max. 2% CM.
Under the screed, the insulation layer need to be installed pressure resistant for admission of
absorbing the loads of the seats/cabin.
A sealing according to DIN 18195 for highly frequented all-time-wet areas is needed under the
units and all plant rooms.
If Klafs is tiling the cabin floor subsequently the outside floor coverage needs to be levelled to
the inside according to Klafs M/E drawings.
For all wooden cabins the floor needs to get tiled prior to the cabin installa-
tion.
Drainage:
Floor drain with trap correctly mounted and sealed including 2% slope in the screed with a
radius of approx. 50 cm surrounding the drain. Absolute horizontal floor under walls and seats
of the units. Floor has to be steam tight.
There is no drain needed in wooden cabins.
Building opening:
Wall or ceiling break-through and core drills according to Klafs M/E drawings and under con-
sideration of local fire protection laws and regulations.

Waste air:
Direction (max. 6 m) to the outside environment of waste air from hand over point approx. 2m
above floor level or plant room (detailed on M/E drawing). Line in complete moisture resistant
and condense sealed plastic pipes.
Attention: Waste air is flavoured and moistened. These facts need to be considered by planning
the venting system.
Fresh air:
Supply with fresh air to plant room or ceiling area above the cabin. Air exchange at least 4 times
per hour,
max. air temperature 25 °C, max. humidity 65 %.
