The Golden Decree

I, <Monarch’s Name>, King of <State’s Name>, of the House of <Dynasty Name>, seeking to
clarify the powers and status of the Crown it is thus decreed that the Monarch is:

-The source of all executive power in <State’s Name>.

-The fount of justice from which all laws are given force.
-The fount of honours from whom the good and the great are acknowledged and rewarded.

Also, seeking to clarify the succession to the Throne of <State’s Name> it is decreed that:

-The Royal Family shall consist of every blood descendant of <REDACTED> and <REDACTED>
who attains the age of majority (16). The Royal Family shall be known as the House of <Dynasty
Name>. Only those who meet the above criteria are to be in the line of succession.
-The line of succession shall proceed from the Monarch to their eldest child who has attained the
age of majority. If the Monarch dies without children, who are of age, the succession shall fall to
the eldest living member of the House of <Dynasty Name>.
-The Monarch may choose, at their discretion, a different heir provided they are in the line of
succession. A public decree must be made by the Monarch announcing this change for it to take
effect.

Also, seeking to clarify the procedure for choosing a new dynasty it is decreed that:

-In the event the House of <Dynasty Name> has no living members a new dynasty will be chosen
from among the Nobility of the <State’s Title>.
-Upon being chosen to be the new Monarch the chosen individual will issue their own decree,
modeled on this one, before assuming the office of Monarch. This new decree will detail the new
dynasty’s name and the name of the new Monarch, and will define the membership of the new
Royal Family, but may not alter the intent of this decree.
