No: GTU/Exam/Summer/2020/3749, dated: 27-05-2020 University has issued Guidelines regarding Summer 2020 Examination (Ref 3) on the basis of above | mentioned Education Department resolution (Ref 1 and 2). University has given Merit based Progression to all regular, remedial and special term extension students of all Diploma, UG and PG courses except regular students of final semester/year. In benefit of student amid Covid-19 pandemic, University will refund the examination fees and term extension fees only for students who have paid the fees and accepted Summer-2020 merit based progression result, ‘The Exam fees and Term extension fees for Summer-2020 examination is collected through E-pay from students and/or through SBI i-collect from institutes. In this regards, respective institutes and students are informed to read and follow the below mentioned instructions carefully: 1. The institutes which have collected the examination fees and term extension fees from students who have accepted merit based progression result but institutes have not deposited the fees to GTU, for all such cases, respective institutes are informed to refund the amount to the concerned students in their bank account only and keep the record regarding the same. University may ask details of the refund records from the institutes whenever required, 2. The institutes which have collected the examination fees from students and deposited the amount to GTU but students have accepted merit based progression, for all such students, University will refund | ~~ the exam fee amount to respective institutes. In this regards, institutes are informed to refund the amount to the students in their bank account only and keep the record regarding the same. University may ask details of the refund records from the institutes whenever required. 3. The Examination fees which were collected from students through E-pay, but after the collection of examination fees University has given Merit based Progression, for all such students who have accepted ‘merit based progression result, University will refund the examination fee directly to the respective students’ bank account.
