Battling Adversities

Adversity comes in different faces,

It could be through family, financial, or even diseases.
But amidst these adversities,
Let’s not forget the values and virtues that we were taught;
To be kind, respectful, honest, and resilient.
There are many more, but I believe these are the core.
These pandemic really is the biggest adversity,
Many people died, many people are unsteady
That’s why let’s not forget to be good--
To be kind can help lighten someone else’s mood,
To be respectful can give our elders a little energy boost,
To be honest is to earn someone’s trust,
To be a resilient Filipino these days is a must.
Altogether, let us achieve the peace that we want,
By shaping our core values and virtues, that’s really important!
