‘Leading Start-ups to Scaleups and Large

Organizations.’

It was really an engaging learning

experience and I’m sure all of us will be
benefited by it in our careers. Once again
thank you and have a great day Professor!

The leadership skill required to run a startup will be different from that required for a scaleup. The skills
required to hire, train and mentor the team members will vary to a great extent.
So while working in startup and while in transition from startup to scale up how can leaders develop their
skills to match the scale-up requirement.
In a scaleup that is a more grown-up type of company, it is important to rope in new skills from outside.
And, in some cases, the leadership will extend into more specialized roles as well.

Bundling of banking services in Telenor app
Online-only bank
Telenor should launch a full-service bank, thus running as an official bank with stricter banking regulations.
By positioning themselves as one of the first mobile banks in Serbia, they stray away from the traditional
ways of banking and become an alternative to customers who seek a simpler solution

In monetary terms, it would also be beneficial to leverage the own brand instead of coming up with a new
one. Building a new brand from scratch would come with much more expenses than keeping the current
one. There is of course a risk of dilution, but given the benefits of leveraging the brand, it would be the best
strategy for Telenor.
