before site visit

Procedure
1.1. Before visiting a site, check site preparations based on
Site Preparation Checklist. For example, check whether
materials arrive at the site, whether site access is
permitted, and whether transmission information, design
files, and tools are ready.

Notes
1. If onsite conditions are inconsistent with the conditions
described in the design file, contact Huawei site engineers
for confirmation.
2. If you encounter site access problems, contact Huawei
site engineers.

Procedure
1. After you arrive at a site, check and confirm related
information based on Site Preparation Checklist Onsite. For
example, check whether the site information and
installation environment are consistent with the design,
whether the materials are a whole set, and whether the
tools are a whole set, and check the responsibility scope.
2. Move installation auxiliaries and tools to the site, and

4. Wear protective cloths and gloves, and set warning
signs.

Notes

1 2 Energy

Procedure
1. Check whether the model and number of onsite main
equipment, such as the cabinet, antennas, RRUs, BBU,
and DCDU, are consistent with that specified in the
engineering design file and material checklist (there is a
packing list attached to the equipment packaging), and
whether the appearance of packaging is intact.
2. If the inspection passes, unpack the packaging, and
check whether the number of materials is correct and
whether they are intact. In addition, request the logistics
service provider and implementation team to sign the DN.
3. Provide the NMC with the BBU ESN, which can be
obtained from the left mounting ear of the BBU.
4. Sort the materials and classify them as main equipment
and materials for the antenna system.

Notes
1. Do not unpack the packaging, and report the problem to
the project team in either of the following scenarios:
The model and number of onsite equipment are
Material placement inconsistent with the design file.
3 The packaging is seriously damaged or soaked.

TP48200A

Procedure
1. Determine the length of the power cable based on the
designed circuit route and then prepare AC power cables.
2. Route the power cables into the cabinet from the cable
outlet at the left front part of the cabinet, install a terminal
on the power cable, and connect the power cables to the
AC wiring terminals on the PDU as follows: a. Three-phase
power: Connect the brown, black, gray, and blue power
cables to the L1, L2, L3, and N wiring terminals,
respectively. b.Single-phase power: Install the short-
circuiting bars and L and N wires before cable connection.
3. Route the power cables into the AC power cabinet (a
PVC pipe is recommended for the power cable outside the
cabinet), trim off the excess of the power cables, prepare
connectors, and connect the power cables to the specified
3 positions.

Notes
1. The color of the power cable differs in different countries.
The procurement of the power cable must comply with local
regulations.
2. The OT terminal must be coated by PVC insulation tape
during cable routing to avoid contacting with the electrode.
3. The electrode to be connected to the power cabinet must
be powered off (the circuit breaker is turned off or the fuse
is pulled out) before the power cabinet is powered on.
2 During the power-on operation, the operation personnel
must wear a pair of insulation gloves and use insulated

Procedure
1. Determine the position for installing the cabinet,Use a
hammer drill to drill holes, and hammer expansion bolts into
the holes. Then, rotate the expansion bolts clockwise for
two or three circles and remove the bolts counterclockwise
from the holes. (If attachment plates for U steel or universal
bases are adopted onsite, skip this step.)
2. Move the cabinet onto the required installation
position,.Add spacers to ensure level.then use a torque
wrench to tighten the bolts.

4-M12x60 Notes
1. Newly installed cabinets must be level with existing ones.
2. Do not use a hammer drill to drill holes from the base.
3. After disassembling an expansion bolt, ensure that the
2 top of the expansion tube is level with the concrete floor. If
they are not level with each other, the cabinet cannot be
securely installed on the concrete floor.

route and install an OT terminal at both ends of the cable.
2. Connect one end of the PGND cable to the ground bar
on the inner side of the cabinet.
3. Route and connect the other end of the PGND cable to
the external cabinet copper bar for grounding.

Notes
1. Grounding principles: An equipotential cable is used to
3 connect the BTS3900AL AC cabinet and another cabinet,
and the PGND cable in the BTS3900AL AC cabinet is
connected to an outdoor ground bar.

on check (energy)

Procedure
1. Use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the storage
battery group and record the value.
2. Turn off the circuit breaker for AC power and check
whether the voltage between the DC busbar and the
negative busbar is the same as that displayed on the
monitoring module. Decrease the float charging voltage on
the monitoring module to ensure that it is about 1 V higher
than the voltage of the storage battery group.
3. Use an insulated handle to install the fuse for storage
batteries and restore the float charging voltage on the
monitoring module. Then, check whether the indicators on
each module indicate an alarm.

Notes
3
1. The float charging voltage must be decreased on the
monitoring module. Otherwise, the sparking that may be
generated when the fuse is installed for storage batteries
will cause human injuries.
2. If an exception occurs, shut down the power switch,
rectify the fault, and power on the equipment.
