1 2 Wireless DBS
Procedure
1. Check whether the model and number of onsite main
equipment, such as the cabinet, antennas, RRUs, BBU,
and DCDU, are consistent with that specified in the
engineering design file and material checklist (there is a
packing list attached to the equipment packaging), and
whether the appearance of packaging is intact.
2. If the inspection passes, unpack the packaging, and
check whether the number of materials is correct and
whether they are intact. In addition, request the logistics
service provider and implementation team to sign the DN.
3. Provide the NMC with the BBU ESN, which can be
obtained from the left mounting ear of the BBU.
4. Sort the materials and classify them as main equipment
and materials for the antenna system.
Notes
1. Do not unpack the packaging, and report the problem to
the project team in either of the following scenarios:

Procedure
1. Install the upper and lower supports, disassemble the
bolt from one end of pole-mounting brackets, making tower
mounting more easily.
2. Use a marker to mark the sector, azimuth, and downtilt
at the back of the antenna.
3.Connect jumpers to the antenna, and do waterproof
(usually by 3 layers waterproof and 3 layers PVC tape;
some case use waterproof box/cover).
4.Based on the serial number of port, attach label /color-
ring to the jumper end, and ensure that the text on the
labels is written from top to bottom. Neatly route the
jumpers from the antenna side to the other end, and attach
a white label to the end of each jumper to mark the ports.
After verifying that the jumper connections are correct, bind

Procedure
1. Determine the route and length: According to the site
design documents, determine whether the routes for RRU
power cables/CPRI optical fibers are consistent with the
site environment, and measure the cable length.
2. Cut cables: Cut RRU power cables, and attach color-
codings to both ends of each cable.
3. Fixed cable clamps.
4.Hoist cables: Bind RRU power cables/CPRI optical fibers,
using a lifting sling, hoist the cables to the installation
positions, and partially fix the cables.
5. Fix cables: Use cable clamps to fix the RRU power
cables/CPRI optical fibers on the tower from top to bottom.
6.Use outdoor cable ties to secure the GPS feeders and
5 microwave IF cables from top to bottom on the tower, and
attach standard labels to both ends of each cable.
4
Notes
1. During cable cutting, reserve a slack of about 0.5 m for
each cable for redundancy based on the resource usage.
2. When fixing cables, reserve a slack of about 0.3 m for
each cable on the side of the antenna system to ensure
that the cables are not excessively tight.

Procedure
1. Measure the installation positions of the indoor fiber

drawing, and drill holes in the wall to mark the anchor
points. Then, use a hacksaw to cut the cable trough.
2. If the onsite walls are concrete walls, use a hammer drill
to drill holes (M6 mm x 40 mm), and hammer the plastic
screws into the holes. If a movable shelter is deployed
onsite, skip this step.
3. Put the fiber termination box and cable trough to the
installation positions, and secure them by tightening the

4. Cut a 20 mm groove on the side of the fiber termination
box adjacent to the cable trough to reserve space for
routing optical cables.

B 1. An optical fiber may have different connectors at both
ends. Therefore, ensure that the BBU connects to the LC
connector (square) at the armored long end of an optical
fiber, the fiber termination box connects to the FC
connector (screw thread), and the RRU connects to the LC
