INTRODUCTION
TRB is a company with tradition lasting several decades in the area of national defense
and security. It was founded in 1955. as a state company with two workshops for main-
tenance, repair and overhaul of motor vehicles, and it grew into the main storage facility
of the Armed Forces of Yugoslavia with more than 1500 employees, production area and
storage space spreading across 22.000 m².
The company has experience of over 60 years in general overhauls of artillery and small
arms. At the time of former Yugoslavia, it was the main center of the entire armament of
YNA.
TRB company is a reliable partner for cooperation and technology transfer, which found
its place very quickly as an integrator of all encompassing solutions in the area of nation-
al defense and security. Innovation and development of new products and their further
representation make the foundations of our manufacture. After the recently adopted act
by the Government of Republic of Srpska, the process of privatizations was finalized,
according to which the Government of Republic of Srpska has a minority interest in the
ownership and thus it provides support in the process of making commercial contracts
with the aim of strengthening national defense and security options.
Regarding the general overhaul of artillery and small arms it is done using modern equip-
ment, special tools manufactured within the company, as well as standard tools.
TRB possesses a great range of spare parts for a successful general overhaul for the
items given in the catalogue.
As a part of the general overhaul the technical-overhaul documents are written, the level
of damage is determined and the range of the parts for replacement and regenerations,
as well as new parts necessary for the process of overhaul, are made.
Examination of the small arms of the lowest caliber that have gone through the overhaul
is done in a contemporary equipped firing range of the company and the examination of
the highest caliber weapons and artillery arms is done on the army ranges.
A great advantage of the TRB in comparison to other companies that do overhauls is the
fact that the TRB manages to keep, as well as renew, the work force which performs the
overhauls in a professional and responsible manner.
