Loading Before loading, all trucks with skip bin, warehouse and quay side area were checked and found clean
supervision: and dry.
Truck bridge scale of Hon La port was checked and found acceptable.
Initial vessel draft survey was jointly done by us with Chief Officer and buyer’s surveyor - SGS on
22/06/2019 from 2030 hrs to 2230 hrs.
The cleanliness of nominated holds (No. 1, 2 & 3) were checked from 2230 hrs and found acceptable

at 2400 hrs on 22/06/2019.
Cargo in bulk stowed in the PBM warehouse No.1 at Hon La port was loaded onto skip bins. After
being sampled, cargo was weighed at the port’s bridge scale then transported to quayside and loaded
on board by ship’s cranes
Method of Sampling was performed throughout the entire course of loading operation from every truck at
Sampling: sampling point on the sampling platform just prior to weighing, recorded the truck ID, number of skips,
date and time on the log sheet.
Four increments approximately 300 grams each were drawn from each skip at front, middle and back
by sampling scoop. The increment samples were put into the plastic bag in lidded bucket,
approximately 4-6 kilograms were combined to form a sub-lot sample representing each approximate
100 WMT of the cargo.
The collected sample of each sub-lot was kept in lidded bucket and were brought to the PBM lab at
Hon La port for moisture determination (Distance from the sampling point to lab was about 100 meter)
The process was repeated in the same manner till completion of loading
