I prefer email..

I also like the fact that it will get to the person in a few minutes or
hours instead of having to wait days or weeks for it to go through the regular mail
system.
Nowadays seems to be old-fashioned to write letters.
Emails are easy, cheap and a lot quicker way to communicate.
You can communicate more frequently by email and you can write to more than
one person at the same time.
Also, it's easy to attach photographs and pictures to an email.
I prefer sending an email to writing a letter because it's much faster and more
economical sending an email than sending a letter. You don't have to go to the post
office, buy a stamp and an envelope. Plus, you don't have to worry that your email
would get lost somewhere like when you send a letter.

Well, I personally prefer writing an email for many reasons

 Firstly, it is more handier/ economical / time-saving/ labour-saving than
writing a letter
 For example, ....
-No stamps to buy or worrying about forgetting to mail it.
-I also like the fact that it will get to the person in a few minutes or hours instead of
having to wait days or weeks for it to go through the regular mail system.
-As long as the person you are emailing checks their email every day, the email
system is a lot faster. I also like the fact that using email instead of writing letters
cuts down on the use of so much paper. It is a good thing when you can cut down
on the amount of paper used because it saves trees and reduces the amount of
waste that would eventually find its way into our landfills...
 Secondly, e-mailing is the most common way for today’s people to
communicate with each other
 For example, currently, I am applying in foreign universities; if I sent
a letter to professors overseas, it might take at least a week, and all my applications
would be delayed
You can communicate more frequently by email and you can write to more than
one person at the same time.
Also, it's easy to attach photographs and pictures to an email
What's more, you can even answer between the lines of the other person's message.

2.
These days, there are many ways to communicate with each other. Text messages
and phone calls are the ways which have changed people keeping touch. However,
I regard that there are several merits and demerits of each method.

For a variety of reasons, people tend to make a phone call to give snippets of
information. Clarity is the main reason why people believe that talking on the
phone is better that sending a text message. For some couples who do a long-
distance relationship make a phone call using a smart application, skype, can be
deliriously happiness to share their daily routine due to her or his voice can be
heard. This application provides free phone call which can connect easily every
time and everywhere. Moreover, talking on the phone reduces misconception
which usually appears when people send text message. Taking email an example, a
purchasing staff send an email to order stationary such as paper and pencils. She or
he writes some abbreviation words in electronic mail and those make mistake to
catch the main point. As a result, telephone is useful device to communication.

On the other hand, text messages are the popular communication method which
can integrate many people. Firstly, smartphone users are closer with many instant
messaging such as whatsapp and blackberry messaging. They can create a group,
and invite other users to share information. In addition, sending text messages is
more economically to compare with talking on the phone. Lastly, messaging
applications have a conversation record as an evident, so they can review what
they said in abroad agreement. It is obvious that some features of instant
messaging lead efficiency in communication.

In conclusion, communication with text messaging and phone call has benefit as
well as negative. So, people should pay attention when they do a communication.
Personally, I prefer talking on the phone rather than sending a massage.

These days the advancement of technology has improved significantly compared to

the last decade and everyone has their style of communicating with their
handphones such as calling or messaging. Personally, I think it is a great way to
text rather than call. I feel this way for two reasons which I will explain the
following essay.
To begin with, texting gives people privacy when they are in public places. While
phone calls can give them privacy as well if they are talking softly or silently, it
can somehow lead to unclear understanding. But when people text, nobody can
overhear your conversation which is about imperative details.
Another reason why I choose to text is because of the reason that saves my time. In
other words, it is much faster when you have to respond to a plethora of customers.
With the convenience of messaging, I can just type the words in short form and
send them to the people I want in a second.
All in all, I certainly prefer to text rather than calling because it gives me a sense of
protection and provides me with flexibility in time.

These days, it seems the text message has become the most popular form of
communication. However, that doesn’t mean that the old-fashioned phone
conversation is gone. With new advances in communication, you might have
trouble deciding whether to call or text. It’s not just a matter of personal preference
between you and the person you want to contact. In most cases, specific
circumstances, such as the time of day or how much you want to discuss, call for
one form or the other. When you know what to consider, the decision becomes
easier.
3.

1. When talking on the phone, you can’t misunderstand or be misunderstood

Calling someone
is always more effective than texting them. When you type a message you can’t
render the nuances that come with vocal inflections and often there are many
meanings contained in those nuances, whether intentional or not.
Sometimes the tone says much more than the words themselves or it can even send
contrasting messages. Plus, it’s always easier and faster to give or ask for more
explanations if something confuses us during a phone call.

2. Calling is the best way to share something special or important

Taking the time to make a call shows that you care about the other person, that
they’re important to you, and that what you want to communicate is also very
important.

Calling is much more personal than texting and is always useful when you need to
convey some news to a person, but you’re away from them.

3. A phone call takes place in real time

Don’t you just hate when you text someone and they only reply to you hours later,
keeping you waiting, wondering, and impatient? So do I. People postpone
answering texts for several reasons: they’re too busy, don’t want to seem too
attached to their phones, or simply don’t hear the short SMS alert.

A phone call is always a fast, efficient solution that you can use for time sensitive
issues.

4. Calling gives you the intimacy of a real conversation

Hearing someone’s voice is always something very special, much more so if you
don’t get to see them as often as you’d like. Texting could never make up for
hearing a dear one laugh at your joke or noticing the smile in their voice when you
call them just because.
.

5. It’s in our nature to talk to each other

We are human beings with a need to communicate and with the instinct to talk.
Having conversations teaches us many things that texting can’t. It teaches us to
think fast, to control our reactions, and to interact with others. Talking also helps
us get to know each other as well as ourselves better.
Call someone dear, for a good reason or for no reason at all. KeepCalling offers
you the best rates to do that whenever you want to show that you care

Describing changes in my community

Previously, the road to my homeland was very narrow and covered with dirt. Now, those
dirt-filled roads have been replaced with brand-new, spacious and clean asphalt roads. The
roadside is planted with lots of ornamental plants and flowers. It looks so beautiful!
Previously, there were few entertainment venues, so life here was boring - I think. But now,
parks, high-rise buildings, restaurants, supermarkets and movie theaters,.... were built one
after another. It makes life here very convenient but also quite polluted. Street food also
gradually appeared. The street food there is more delicious, cheaper and fresher than other
places - It's the things I Like best, ha ha :P. But what I don't like about this innovation is
about traffic. It is often congested during rush hour.
My hometown has changed a lot. There are even those who are unbelievable. I am very
proud of my hometown. Thank you for reading.
Someone who has made a big difference in my life is my English teacher in high
school. She was very sensitive and kind. I don’t like my school because I didn’t
have any friends. I think she noticed that I was sad, so she encouraged me to read
and gave me lists of books to read all the summer vacation. Reading helped me to
be an independent thinker. Reading not only brought about the knowledge but it
also opened my world in a way that I would have never imagined. Thanks to
reading, I had a broader view of the world. In addition, reading empowered me in
becoming a better version of myself through various books that I’ve read in self-
improvement. I learned to love reading, a habit that stayed with me all my life. I
haven’t forgotten my high school teacher. And whenever I have time, I volunteer at
our local public library to read stories with children. I hope to help them to love
reading, too.

People who sit at their desks for long periods of time, especially the officers, are in
danger of having heart attacks and strokes than people are active. Prolonged sitting
at their desks is not only bad for your physical health, but potentially your mental
well-being. They are often very focused on their works . As a result, they forget
about the need to stand up and walk around from time to time. Moreover, experts
show that those who sit for longer at work are more likely to sit outside of work.
Sitting disease is becoming the new smoking in the workplace, and it may be
slowly draining your health while you make ends meet. One way to help them is to
provide a device for their wrist that monitors how long they have been sitting.
Every half an hour, for example, it could beep to remind them to take a walk
around the office or just walk outside to get some fresh air, or do some exercises.
In addition, this device can count how many times they get out of their desks a day,
and then sends its detailed information to an app on their smartphone. Therefore,
they can easily control and adjust their behaviors. This could be a good way to help
prevent heart attacks and strokes as well as obesity.
