SKYSCRAPER - EASING COMMUNICATION

Designed by Anthony Béchu and Tom Sheehan, the Tour D² is a high-rise
building under construction in La Défense, Paris. The tower is 180 meters
high, and can accommodate 3,700 people on 37 stories.
!
Reaching a level of energy efficiency 30% lower than HQE® performance level
was our client’s objective. Environmental requirements, outstanding quality,
complex logistic were challenges our client faced. Widely used on a daily
basis, the system brought its simplicity allowing a smooth communication
between stakeholders with 43 devices synchronised on the project.

HOSPITAL - PER ROOM MONITORING

The New Hospital of Orleans is the largest medical facility in France with
1,304 beds and 600 meters long. Engaged in HQE (High Environmental
Quality) approach, the NHO is will be fully running at the end of 2015.

FINALCAD brings its flexibility and detailed-drawing-unique approach.
Hospitals require room-by-room monitoring since nomenclature of rooms
significantly varies among services and departments. The system is used for
managing different handovers and has levelled up all requirements. On
average, two snags/defects per M2 is solved.

STADIUM - TURN POSSIBLE INTO TANGIBLE

The new Bordeaux stadium (70,000 m²), a multipurpose facility is selected to
host the 2016 European football cup. Designed by architects Herzog and de
Meuron, this 45,000 seats stadium combines a "bowl" for games with a forest
of columns supporting the structure to give a sense of freedom.
!
Technical challenge appears with the number of columns. Tens of thousands
controls are necessary for handovers. Unthinkable mission without a mobile
tool enabling detailed and precise controls, Vinci Construction used
FINALCAD Quality Control solutions with automatic reports (zone, element…).
