 Born in Sweden, Martin Brudnizki moved to England in


1990 to study Interior Architecture and Design at The
American University of London.

 After working for renowned architects and designers, he


established Martin Brudnizki Design Studio (MBDS) in
2000.

 Located in London, the Studio has expanded to over 40


employees and includes a New York satellite office opened in
late 2009 to meet growing international demand.

 Martin Brudnizki is one of the most in-demand


restaurants, bars, hotels and private clubs Designer.

He has created many well-known interiors around the world.

Jamie Oliver and Chris Bianco


asked Martin Brudnizki Design
Studio to work with them on their
new Union Jacks restaurant in
London’s grade listed Covent
Garden Market.
UNION JACKS RESTAURANT…..

A cozy, elegant, romantic – Vintage


interior design style of
apartments, houses, office or shop
is elegance and atmosphere of
antiquity, pleasant. ...

Vintage interior design is old


fashioned and elegant.

It involves the use of old or


artificially aged furniture and
decor.

Drawing inspiration from retro (a style that is derived from the previous past) and
light hearted vintage design, the materials used in the project included
reclaimed barn oak (Strong, sturdy boards with original saw marks and edges)
flooring, colored laminate table tops, and tubular steel industrial stools.

Vintage style is usually a classic design


that is accessorized in such a way that it
hints at a specific period of fashion from a
bygone era.

The color palette was kept fresh and playful


with ice cream colors like
pistachio and strawberry with rustic
finishes to ensured the design.
DRAKE ONE FIFTY, TORONTO

Marking his first major project in


Canada, the Studio was asked by
Jeff Stober to design his first
stand alone restaurant, Drake One
Fifty.

Located in the heart of Toronto’s


Financial District, Martin Brudnizki
Design Studio worked with local
craftsmen and suppliers to create an
original environment that fuses
together sophisticated features
and unique details.

Merging elements of high and low design and further enhancing


Drake One Fifty’s diversity, the restaurant is an imaginative and
eclectic (style from a broad and diverse range of sources) space.
BULLION…located in the district of Downtown Dallasc

Bullion is a mid-century
inspired fine dining restaurant
for chef Bruno Davaillon.

Embodying the ambience of a


traditional brasserie (a french
style restaurant),

Bullion’s design blends


together a sense of
theatre,
booth seating and a more
relaxed lounge bar area.

SMITH & WOLLENSKY RESTAURANT in London…..

Smith & Wollensky is one of London’s most iconic art deco landmarks, as
the décor features a classic aesthetic, with
timber wall panelling,
a mosaic marble floor and
a blackened steel central bar

It features an array of


contemporary abstract artwork
complete with steel and amber
glass (name of any glassware with
the proper yellow-brown shading)

Martin has reimagined the original restaurant with a design that fuses the charm
and heritage of this iconic department store with contemporary glamour.

The design features a


•traditional oak parquet flooring,
•rosewood tables and
•low ceilings

Complementing these
traditional elements,
the walls composed
of textured create a modern
touch and add to the sense
of combining
the old with the new.

SESSANTA RESTAURANT in New York……

The interior displays a warm and organic feeling, with natural materials and
an earthy palette punctuated with accents of colour in the leather seating and
contemporary artwork adorning the walls.

Sessanta feels intimate


yet still retains an airy feel,
as it contours
•large sky lights,
•foliage and mirrors
•wood panelling

Earthy palette is a color scheme that


draws a rich brown colors or
natural colors found in
soil, moss, trees and rocks.

Sexy Fish’s contemporary interior is influenced by the style of a mid-century


brasserie (type of French restaurant) and the patterns and motifs of the ocean;

all imaginatively brought


to life with installations
from international names
in the worlds of architecture,
art and fashion in

•Damien Hirst and
•Michael Roberts.

The Ivy has been synonymous

a century with new look
encapsulates those much-loved
features that made it famous.

From the original


stained-glass windows
to the focus on the best of
British art, with breathtaking
central bar and elegant
colour palette.

The Palladio apartments embody the very idea of curated luxury.

Merging functionality and style


with high quality finishes.

The Palladio is designed


around an exciting lifestyle.

Natural light bathes the space


through the large windows,

Acting as an asset in which


subtle features such as
deep cornices, timber floors
anchors the interior.

The look is simple, yet sophisticated.

On request from Mrs Burstein, Martin Brudnizki Design Studio redesigned


this women’s store on South Molton Street.
RETAIL STORE BROWNS, LONDON…

The Studio worked with the Client’s team


to create a contemporary and relaxing
environment using materials such as
limed oak, lacquered panels and
blackened steel – all set off by the
subtlest shade of pink on the walls.

Bespoke rugs (derived from verb bespeak,


meaning to "speak for something“)
designed by Christine Van de Hurd were
chosen for the first floor and all furniture
and fittings were custom designed to
display the retail collections with a feeling
of stated luxury.
