Whose/ Belong to

Whose allows us to ask whom an object belongs to. It is an

interrogative adjective and is followed by a noun:
Whose pen is this? - It's mine. To whom does this pen belong?
- It belongs to me.
Whose car did you borrow? - Kevin's. Who is the owner of the
car you borrowed? - Kevin.

We say: Whose car is this? but Whom does this car belong

to?.
