COMPLAINT AFFIDAVIT

I, Maria Saldaga, Filipino, 17 years of age and a resident of 456 B Magdalena, Laguna,
accuses Rosendo de Castro of the crime of Qualified Seduction, committed as follows:

1. On the month of April 1989, I, Maria Saldaga, together with my mother, Felisa
Saldaga, went to my uncle, Rosendo de Castro's house in Magdalena, Laguna
to work as a housemaid.

2. Due to the fact that my father has an outstanding debt with the defendant, I
agreed to work as housemaid in the latter's house.

3. On the evening of June of the same year, while I was sleeping in my room, I
was awaken by the presence of the defendant. He told me “mabait na bata,
mahal na mahal kita.”

4. The defendant placed his right leg on my right arm. I started crying but he
threatened me. When he took off his tshirt, I immediately push him to escape
but he immediately got hold of me.

5. The defendant slapped me and I was unconscious. After taking off his clothes,
he took of mine. Then, he inserted his penis inside my vagina and thrust hastily.
I was crying the whole time.

6. Next morning, I immediately packed my things to get away from that place.
However, the respondent saw me and called me. He gave me money and told
me that I should not leave as he would take care of me. My aunt (respondent's
wife) came out and gave me a rosary. She told me not to go so I went back to
my room.
