I did not attend office the last week. I had a bad case of cold and fever. But since I already
contracted Covid-19 before, I found dissimilarities between my symptoms from both times.
I told my doctor and he told me to just take rest and follow regular procedure for cold. So, I
did not get a COVID-19 test. When I came back to office on Saturday, I had a very long
meeting with HR because I had no documentation of my illness. So, HR was adamant about
deducting my salary. Luckily, I remembered that I had 14 days of casual + medical leave
since I got the promotion, so I used those to save myself this time. As I went back to my
desk, news from the IT room came that my website was approved, and is now going for
dynamization. I felt relieved because at least my hard work had paid off. Next, I started
developing contents for the website.
In addition to this, I was also tasked with the promotion of the upcoming event from
Maslow Bangladesh. The Coordinator of Maslow, Mr. Oron was given responsibility to
execute the whole event. So, he came to me with some requirement s such as x banners and
certificates. But he did not have a complete event plan organized. He was demanding that I
prioritize his work above all but when I pointed out his flaws, he got very defensive and
stormed off. I later found out that he told the GM that he fears I am aiming for his position.
Little does he know that my aims are much, much higher.
Our office provides freehand exercise services after office hours. The trainer is a famous
yoga master and since I had made a plan of losing some weigh before the end of December,
I have started working out at office. Sure, I have to come home a bit later, but I believe this
will help me.

The CEO of Veteran Securities is very active on social media and asked me to pose like that
for him to upload.

Also, I don’t know why but most people in the office cling to me like this. Despite me telling
them multiple times to not invade my personal space.
