656.10 MINOR'S CURFEW.

(a) Children Under Twelve. No minor under the age of twelve years shall loiter, idle or congregate
upon any public street, highway, alley or park or in any public place in the City between the hours of
10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. of the day immediately following, unless such minor is accompanied by a
parent or guardian or any adult over the age of eighteen years delegated by such parent or guardian to
accompany such child.
No minor under the age of twelve shall be in an automobile between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00
a.m. of the following day unless such minor is accompanied by a parent or guardian or any adult over
the age of eighteen years delegated by such parent or guardian to accompany such child or when the
minor is upon an emergency errand or other legitimate purpose directed by his or her parent or
guardian.
(b) Children Under Fourteen. No minor under the age of fourteen years shall loiter, idle or
congregate upon any public street, highway, alley or park or in any public place in the City between the
hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. of the day immediately following, unless such minor is accompanied
by a parent or guardian or any adult over the age of eighteen years delegated by such parent or guardian
to accompany such child, or when the minor is upon an emergency errand or other legitimate business
directed by his or her parent or guardian.
No minor under the age of fourteen shall be in an automobile between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and
6:00 a.m. of the following day unless such minor is accompanied by a parent or guardian or any adult
over the age of eighteen years delegated by such parent or guardian to accompany such child or when
the minor is upon an emergency errand or other legitimate purpose directed by his or her parent or
guardian.
(c) Children Under Seventeen. No minor under the age of seventeen years shall loiter, idle or
congregate upon any public street, highway, alley or park or in any public place in the City between the
hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. of the day immediately following, unless such minor is
accompanied by a parent or guardian or when the minor is upon an emergency errand or other
legitimate business directed by his or her parent or guardian.
No minor under the age of seventeen shall be in an automobile between the hours of 12:00 midnight
and 6:00 a.m. of the following day unless such minor is accompanied by a parent or guardian or any
adult over the age of eighteen years delegated by such parent or guardian to accompany such child or
when the minor is upon an emergency errand or other legitimate purpose directed by his or her parent
or guardian.
(d) Aiding Violations of Underage Children. No person shall assist, aid, abet, allow, permit or
encourage any person under the age of seventeen years to violate any of the provisions of this section.
