Executive Summary

This paper has attempted to highlight on the banking industry in Nepal. Banks and
financial institutions are very important for the economy of nations. As student from
business discipline, We try to put our effort to make a depth study.

The first part of the report discusses the history and background of banking system in
world as well as Nepal. We have given our best effort to include all the necessary points
in order to give a clear understanding about how and when banking system introduce in
Nepal.

In the second part of the report we included all information regarding banking industry
picture in whole from number of commercials banks to their products. Here we have
included SWOT analysis to get better picture of banking industry in current situation

The last part was very significant because in this part we try to conclude our report as
