NOTICE INVITING NOMINATIONS FOR

IIA NATIONAL COUNCIL, CHAPTER, CENTRE, SUB- CENTRE ELECTIONS

29.10.2020

IIA Members who wish to file nominations for the IIA National Council /Chapter/ Centre/ Sub- Centre
can download the attached respective Nomination forms and send the duly completed scanned copies
latest by 5.00 p.m. on Saturday, 7th November 2020 by email mentioning in the subject - whether it is for
IIA National Council /Chapter/ Centre/ Sub- Centre & indicating the position - to the following email
address:

Important Points to Note

1. For IIA National Council Election:

a. Nominee for the post of the PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT shall be Fellow Members of
IIA. Other Office Bearers and Council Members shall be Fellow/Associate Members of IIA.

b. Nominees for the post of Office Bearers shall have served as IIA COUNCIL MEMBER at least
for one full term of two years

2. For Chapter/Centre/Sub-Centre Election:

a. Nominee for the post of the OFFICE BEARERS/ EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS shall be
Fellow/Associate Members of IIA

b. Nominees for the post of Office Bearers shall have served as Member of the Executive
Committee of the Chapter/Centre/Sub-Centre at least for one full term of two years.

3. Common Points:

a. Office Bearers shall not hold office for the same post for more than two consecutive terms.

b. Candidate, Proposer, Seconder shall have paid their subscription up to the year of 2021-
2022, or Life Time.

c. A member can contest for ONE POST only. If nominations from candidates are received for
more than one post and not withdrawn for other posts by the due date, nomination/s of
lower post/s will be cancelled and nomination for higher post shall be retained.

d. Members whose subscription, upto the year 2020-21 or beyond, has been received at IIA
Head office or Life Time are included in the final Voters List and the same has been sent to
all Chapters, Centres & Sub- Centres and uploaded in the website.
