For the following compositions, again you have the choice between Atelier and
Exposition. Whether you choose Atelier or Exposition, I am looking for profondeur
(focus on specific short examples and give your opinion whether through the voice of a
character in Atelier or your own voice if you pick Exposition) instead of largeur (avoid
narrating the story, if you have too many examples, you must revise your composition or
come see me during tutoring/office hours).

Words to avoid in the composition because they lack clarity:

Bien
Bon/Mal
Chose
Quelque chose
Quelqu’un

Expressions you tend to confuse:

Parce que/À cause de

Aider quelqu’un (NOT aider à quelqu’un)
À+LE= AU
DE+LE=DU
DE+LES=DES

Avoid switching from présent to passé composé to imparfait, etc. There are specific
times that require this but very few times.
