1. WEATHER CONDITIONS
1.1. South-West Monsoon-2020: Major Agriculture in A.P depends on South-West Monsoon. The South-
West monsoon hit Kerala on 1st June, 2020 as per IMD report. The South West monsoon entered Andhra
Pradesh on 7th June in some parts of Rayalaseema and covered entire state by 12.06.2020. SW Monsoon has
been vigorous over Rayalaseema. Rainfall occurred at most places in Rayalaseema and many places over Coastal AP.

NORTH EAST MONSOON: South-West Monsoon is not retreated so far. The average rainfall received from 1.10.2020
to 21.10.2020 is recorded as 176.4 mm as against the Normal as on date 133.4 mm showing Excess 32.2 per cent.
Overall, the average rainfall received in Andhra Pradesh from 1-6-2020 to 21-10-2020 is recorded as 881.2 mm as
against the Normal as on date of 689.4 mm showing by Excess 27.8 percent.

All the Major reservoirs are holding 933.88 tmc as on 21-10-2020, by this time last year, the level had stood
at 832.01 tmc. The water levels in all major reservoirs as on 21-10-2020 are furnished hereunder.
