6.1.1 = Calculation
of Centrifugal Pumps
By help of the example below and the annexed summarised diagrams and tables all the
centrifugal pumps can be designed. The tables contain Tuchenhagen specifie valves and
pipe fittings. For the calculation of pressure drops in a plant, the conversion principle of
the measured friction factor (t) of valves and fittings in metre equivalent pipe length is
applied.
