1. Define Physical Education and its function.


- Physical education is a school-based course that focuses on improving physical fitness
and the opportunity to perform and enjoy day-to-day physical activity with ease. Kids
also build the skills required to engage in a wide variety of sports, such as cricket,
basketball or swimming. Regular physical education courses train children to be
physically and emotionally engaged, fit and healthy in adulthood. The main objective of
physical education is to build the awareness and understanding, talents, strengths and
qualities that are required for mental, emotional, social and physical well-being both
now and in the future.
