 3.2. Lí do không yêu thích công việc

What subject(s) are you studying?
I have many subjects to learn at school, they are Math, Physics, Chemistry and something
like that. They are categorized as the Science subjects.
Is it very interesting?
Well, I think most of them are very interesting. Because they all teach me how to get to
know the world better in a scientific perspective instead of just have a superficial or
sentimental feeling about everything in the world.
 
Do many students in your country study that subject?
It’s half and half I think. In my country, the majority of the boys chose to study these
subjects, while for most girls, they think it’s a boring thing, so they chose to learn arts
subjects.
 

What school/university do you attend?

I am now studying at RDFZ, which is a prestigious school located in Phú Nhuận District,
Saigon.

What do you plan to do after you finish your studies?

I am going to apply for a G5 university and I hope I could get admitted to a program
about Chemistry, which is my favorite.

Are you looking forward to working?

Not really. Because I’m now just a senior high school student, I’m not really prepared.
Working means years of sacrificing your private time, so I don’t want to work very soon.

What work do you do?
Well, I’m doing fashion designing at Fashion Bazaar, which is a big fashion magazine
 company in
VIETNAM.
Do you like your job?
Right now, I am really into this job, because this job not only makes me financially
independent but also gives me a nice platform to make a lot of friends who have a lot in
common with me.
Is it very interesting?
This job is very interesting to me, you know, every day I can get exposure to different
designs that are really excellent, which really gives me a new perspective on generating
my own ideas.

Why did you choose to do that kind of work?

Like I said, I need to do something to be financially independent first. And this job
helped me made it. So, I think that’s probably the most important reason I did this job.

Will you continue doing this job in the future?

I will, but I probably won’t continue doing it in my current company. I wanted to start my
own business since I was young. So, maybe in the future, I will start my own designing
company.
 
What are your responsibilities at work?
My responsibilities are identifying creative art pieces and incubating new ideas from
different cultures and elements from other designs, then try creating something
innovative. These things are probably quite boring for others. But, it really excites me
every day. Because I love keeping myself challenged.
