CIRCULAR IS TO CALL YOUR ATTENTION TO A
LITTLE MAGAZINE OF INTERESTING READING,
INTERSPERSED WITH VARIOUS BITS OF ART, AND
PRIVATELY PRINTED AT THE WAYSIDE PRESS
SPRINGFIELD, MASS. PRICE ONE DOLLAR PERYEAR
ADVERTISEMENT Its Literature is to be the work of many
clever writers, its Art the Art of Books, etcera, eecaly that
which finds espression in decoration. Its prinngwill be plesing
and, that the illustrations may ap upon the paper for whclx
they were designed, some three orlour varieties will be used, each
page appearing in at least two colors, and from that up to six.
A new cover will be deined by Mr. Bradley for each number,
these also to be printed in colors, each on a different style of
paper. In the hope that the advertisements may be made quite
intereting they will not be taken from more than one commercial
house in te same line of business. Each will be designed with
mucare,appeaiingin thismagazine beforepublication eswhere.
FIRST E:DITION The first edition of the Magazine will con
sist of ten thousand copi These will be fishd to subscribers
first, after which news dealers will be supplied in turn accordne
as their orders are received. Each order ihould be accompanied
by check, which will be returned should the edition be exha
SPECIAL EDITION There will also be a special edition of fifty
large paper copis of the first number, prin on a ane par
ment, and bound in flexible Japan vellum wrappers. This edition
will contain a small Poster m two colors, desgned and engraved
on the wood by Mr. Bradley, and printed byhim on India paper.

form printed, numbered and signed b Twenty
eight of these copies now remain for'sale at twenty dollars each

POSTERS There will be a Poster for each number of the Mag
azine. The first will be 22x60 inches, and lithographed in four
colors; these to be placed at one dollar each. Subscibers, how
ever, can obtain them, while the edition lasts, at 50 cents a copy.

was made by Ault C& Wiborg of Cincinnati,
especially for this class of printing.
The Paper is Extra Superfine Deckle Edge
Book, manufactured by the Mittineague Paper
Company of Mittineague, Mass.
The Type used is Jenson Old-Style and made by
the American Type Founders' Co.
