Hi everybody, my name is angelica and I am going to talk about my opinion of this

problem

It's a complicated situation because it has several points of view.

First, Journalists report the news and investigate the facts and have an obligation to
report objectively to the rest of the world events that are happening in the moment,  for
that reason I agree with Sebastian 100 percent when he said that the journalist's work is
to show what is going on around the world, even if we risk our live in that.  How to deal
with the criticisms which are harming our newspaper’s image? Well, as journalist we
have an ethic code that gives us independence to be open to the investigation of the
facts although those facts are inaccessible.

I mean, most people go the other way when there is a dangerous situation, but a good
journalists most stay in that place, to get closer to truth, to show readers and public
what is happening around them and, in our own way, to fight for freedom. That’s our job
and people must understand that.

And about if we must discipline him or not… well, here is the other point of view,
because he had been advised by local officials about that dangerous place and he
ignored the warning, because of that one person was killed and 2 were injured, I think
that’s a delicate situation. In my opinion, we should discipline him because that was
professional negligence according to our professional ethic code.  I think, we must
suspend him from his work activities, because he has an ethic responsibility and he
must face that in order to show respect for those precious lives.
