INTRODUCTION
Back in 2011 I published the blackjack “Formula Cycling Method” (FCM)

betting system under the title of “Blackjack to the Nth Degree”. The FCM
betting system was created by me in the 1970’s. I really had no interest in
passing this on to the public at large until I was diagnosed with a rare form
of cancer called Merkel Cell Carcinoma in 2009 and given only 3 to 5 years
to live. Since then I definitely had a change of heart.
For that reason (and others) I embarked on an effort to pass my knowledge

down to the average player interested in mastering this addicting game of
blackjack. And during that process over the last eight years I discovered a
new level of difficulty others experienced trying to use my or any betting
system at the casino table games. Betting systems have become successful
over the last 20 to 30 years and have awoken the casinos (first) into a
defensive reaction and then more gradually into an effective offense mode
tweaking their policies to cripple the effects of any money management and
betting system. Make no mistake about it; casinos are in business to take
your money.
Most blackjack players are addicted to the game; literally. That is the only
game they will play. The Formula Cycling Method betting system,
however, will work in any game you can make wagers. While different
actions like double down and splitting during the blackjack play makes the
payout more lucrative so too does other games like roulette.
In my previous published books on this betting system I am careful to

point this out. You don’t have to just play blackjack with the FCM system.
It is very versatile and can be used especially in roulette or baccarat.
Baccarat is one of the few games besides Roulette you can still use score
cards to keep track of some of the action results like the outcome of the hand
as bank or player. So this score card now becomes a natural way to help
keep track of one’s betting lines during a playing session. And like
blackjack & roulette, there are many baccarat players addicted to the game.
And yes, it’s a religion to them also.
So I will point out once again that besides the casino game of blackjack;
baccarat, roulette, and even craps are great games to use the FCM betting
system. In this book I will focus on how to win consistently at baccarat. I

will show you the different nuances of the game that will enhance your play;
what to be on the lookout for; and how to catch those elusive winning
streaks.

There are a lot of books out there about baccarat and the gambling industry
that can have a real negative results on one’s psyche & wallet that can really
scare and discourage the average player. On the other hand there are books
out there that have real positive value and show you how to win. I
encourage you to read as much as you can and to learn many different
betting systems to put into your arsenal of tools to win at baccarat and for
that matter any game you play. Knowledge is power.
The industry will lead you to believe that the casinos are just an
entertainment business where the average person can relax, enjoy
themselves, and in some cases make a lot of money in a short period of time.
Really?
I suggest you go to your local movie theatre, get yourself a large box of
yummy calorie soaked popcorn, your favorite drink and sit back and enjoy.
That will be a whole lot cheaper! (Don’t use gambling as a form of
recreation but rather use it as another stream of income.) Casinos convince
many that they are a way to have fun and enjoy yourself. They gently urge
you to rationalize that losing is ok as long as you’re having fun. If you are
not there to make money; why go?
Casinos are in business for one reason and one reason only; they want your
money. And in order to get your money they will provide you the feel of
entertainment and a fun filled experience that is designed from top to bottom
to (wait for it) take your money.
Many years ago when I was a young man learning the ins and outs of
winning, Las Vegas had the only casinos readily available that could
accommodate all types of action in those days. Blackjack, baccarat, roulette,
and crap tables were very inviting to the skilled and mathematical minded
player but the casinos did not take kindly to having someone beat them at
their game. And that attitude of the casinos still remains steadfast today.
Anyone wining large sums of money from playing their games with
betting systems on a consistent basis will be considered public enemy
number one. Once the casinos label you as a threat of any kind, they will
ban you from playing. And if you make a ban list the other casinos will
follow. The good news is many states have casinos today so you will not be
banned from them all. So we will discuss how you should be cognizant of
this and what to do to stay under their radar. It’s not hard; use common
sense and don’t get greedy.
Personally, winning lots of money by gambling from the casinos was

never a driving force for me when I started playing the game. And of course
the thought of always having to watch your back and your play were
certainly discouraging factors and deterrents not to pursue the pot of gold
that awaited most players of that era. My attitude was primarily based on my
competitive & business nature and recognized the opportunity to use skill to
accomplish profit as the bottom line.
So with an analytical mindset I began to experiment with structured

betting systems. The cancellation system called Labouchere became my
model of choice. This was a betting system primarily used at roulette.
Cancellation of betting numbers and depleting the entire betting line was
how you won with the Labouchere system. Having a bankroll big enough to
support the system through completion was usually the only stumbling
block. Today that road block has gotten bigger, stronger, and more effective.
Over a period of a few years I was able to tweak and improve on the
Labouchere system and added variables that enhanced and accelerated the
system to focus on completing a betting cycle on a consistent basis.
Cancellation of betting numbers now became only one of several keys to
winning. I learned how to incorporate the aspect it was only necessary to
win just $1 in each cycle and then repeat that over and over to obtain the
desired results. This technique also lessened the risk of busting out your
bankroll. I tweaked the system that was designed for roulette in order to
play it effectively at blackjack. So this system is a natural for winning on a
consistent basis. It is also perfect for baccarat because there are no playing
decisions in baccarat. All hitting and standing decisions are structured
according to the rules.
So without any further ado I am going to give you my betting method right
here in the introduction. It is rather simple. You start out with a pre-
arranged set of numbers representing units or dollars (I call this the opening
betting line). Then you start by wagering the table minimum. If you win;
great! You keep wagering the minimum until you lose your first hand. That
is when the betting cycle starts. You add the amount of you first loss to the
right side of the starting betting line. Your next wager will always be the
sum of the number on the far left to the number on the far right of the betting
line. If you win, then you eliminate those two numbers from the betting line
and continue the betting process until the total of the betting line is 5 or less.
Since your original betting line of 1 * 2 * 3 totaled 6, getting the betting line
to 5 or less always made you a winner. That is how you cycle and
mathematically cycling makes you a winner. You cannot lose if you cycle.
If you lose a hand you always add that amount to the far right of the
betting line and use the formula (adding the two end numbers) to ascertain
the next wager. Again, when the total of the betting line reaches 5 or less
then you have closed the betting line and you start over and repeat the
process. And again, it is mathematically impossible to lose as long as you
close each betting line that is played. There you have it! Go out there and
bring home the bacon! Oh! Are you a little confused? OK, let’s put it in a
visual form for you.
You start off betting the minimum at the table with your pre-determine
starting betting line. That opening betting line is 1 * 2 * 3. That line totals
six. You keep betting the minimum table wager until you lose your first
hand. So you are sitting at a $5 table and your first wager is $5 and you
lose. Take the amount you lost and add it to the far right of your betting
line. Your betting line is now 1 * 2 * 3 * 5. The total of this line is 11 (that
is not 5 or less) so your next wager is the total of the far left number added
to the far right number and you wager 6. You win! Eliminate those two
numbers of your wager and your betting line is now 2 * 3. This totals 5 or
less so you have completed the betting cycle and you start over wagering the
minimum table amount. Repeat and repeat this process. Close the betting
cycle and you are mathematically always a winner. That is why I can state if
you close the betting line (cycle) you cannot lose.
That’s it in a nut shell. That’s the betting method so go out there and bring
home the bacon! Good luck!
Oh, wait! That is only the betting method. You are going to need to know
and understand the entire betting system that will allow you to win on a
consistent basis without being banned by the casinos.
I will now take you on a journey that will walk you through the
development of my betting method and betting system and show you all the
secrets you will need to win on a consistent basis without fear of being asked
to leave. You will be explained exactly how it works and will be trained to
win. Your losing days are over! It should be pointed out here that baccarat
is a unique game in the fact it will produce long streaks. You will learn how
to take advantage of those situations and learn to maximize your winnings.

This method will take the gamble out of gambling! You will learn this
system in its purest form. Then you will be exposed to additional methods
that will not only accelerate the process but will allow your session profit to
grow accordingly.
FCM Betting System – Rules & Structure for Baccarat:

1. Your first wager is the table minimum betting on PLAYER.
2. After you cycle or close a betting line start over with the minimum bet
and the predetermine betting line of 1-2-3.
3. If you win three in a row immediately after you close a betting line,
then switch to a progressive bet until you lose.
4. If you lose three bets in a row then switch your bets from PLAYER to
BANKER and vice-versa.

CHAPTER 1
THE BACCARAT BASICS
Please note: Betting and playing rules can change from one casino to the
next especially for online casinos. When using my Baccarat FCM betting
system you will not have a need to know anything about the odds except for
when wagering on Bank you will be accessed a 5% commission charge on
each win. (Some casinos have a lower commission rate and some have a
zero commission rate.) That is all you will need for my betting system on
baccarat. But it is wise to always know everything you can about the game
you are playing. In my opinion you need to know the exact rules of when
the Player must take a hit or stand and also know when the Bank must take a
hit or stand. Knowledge is power. Dealers can make mistakes. It is your job
to make sure you are not negatively affected by that mistake whether it is a
miss action on the dealer parts or calling your hand a loser when it was
actually a winner. This is extremely important if you are playing by yourself
and no other bettors are there to speak up also.
Knowing something is not the same as understanding something. Most

players probably know about 90% of everything needed to win at blackjack,
baccarat or roulette. But just knowing is not enough. You need to
understand it! It’s that ah ha moment when the light bulb goes off in your
brain.
Knowing something is easy. You are told to do something a certain way

and so it is just a matter of memorizing and performing that task. But when
someone ask you why you do it that way, you end up with the monotonous
and lackluster answer of, “that’s what I was told to do”.
Many years ago when I took a new position as the Chief Financial
Officer and Controller for an Auto Dealership, I would have one-on-one
meetings with the staff and always asked the question, to each one, about
why a specific accounting procedure or function was done that way and
invariably received a repetitious reply, “that’s the way I was told to do it.”
Again, there was knowledge but no understanding.
Understanding something, on the other hand, is a little more complicated

and tedious. It is a point you reach that is an acknowledgement of why it is
done exactly that way and in many cases no other way. Hence, now I
understand. Understanding usually comes from the experience you receive
from using that knowledge over and over. Hence, repetition is usually the
best teacher. Understanding how much to wager and when to switch from
wagering on Player to wagering on Bank will be the secret to maximizing
your winning sessions.
A blackjack system is usually comprised of two parts; a betting method

(the mechanical function of wagering) and a playing strategy; a guidance on
action needs to be taken (stand, hit, split, or double down) in order to win
each playing session. In baccarat it is a little different and easier. You just
have to keep track of the betting line and make the wagers accordingly until
you cycle. So I know this is going to be boring to some but my books are
written to educate not only the experience player but also the beginner. And
there are many experience blackjack players who know very little about the
game of baccarat and will be glad they took the time to learn.
Rules of Baccarat: The Basics:
Three Types of Wagers: The bettors can place a wager on Player, Bank, or
Tie. If you wager on Tie and win you will be paid 8 to 1. You never wager
on Tie when using the Baccarat FCM Betting System. If you wager on Bank
and win you will be accessed a 5% commission (or less) on each Bank win.
There are some casinos that DO NOT access any commission on a Bank
win. It is important to know. It will be beneficial to play at a casino brick
and mortar store or at an online casino that DOSE NOT access any
commission. The Banker hands normally win more than the Player hands
but the paying commission on the Bank win is a negative.
At some casinos and online establishments you are allowed to make

additional wagers called side bets (Pairs, Dragon Bonus, Dragon 7 or
Dragon 8). DON’T! When using the FCM betting system you should only
wager on Banker or Player.
Wagering on Bank or Player: If the casino you are playing baccarat at has
a 5% commission on all Bank wins then your first wager should be the
minimum bet on Player. However, if the casino has no commission on Bank
wins then your first wager should be the minimum bet on Bank.
The Play Action: There are only two hands dealt in Baccarat. One called
the Banker hand and the other called the Player hand.
There are two types of Baccarat tables. You will usually find only Mini-
Baccarat tables at local casinos in many states. The dealer controls all the
action and handles all the cards. The Mini-Baccarat games moves more
quickly and you will get more hands dealt in an hour.
Then there is the Full-Scale Baccarat (The Big Baccarat Tables) with some
pomp and circumstance ceremony offered to large bettors (the whales). You
will usually find these at casinos in Vegas, Reno, Atlantic City, and at large
international (casino) brick and mortar establishments. Really the only
difference of playing at the Full-Scale table and the Mini-Baccarat table is
the Full Scale table has a slower pace and usually a higher minimum wager.
At the Full-Scale table you will get about 40 hands dealt in an hour.
At the Mini-Baccarat table you will get between 150 to 200 hands dealt.
The main reason you get that kind of high dealing rate at the Mini-Baccarat
table is because the bettor’s only decision is where to place the wager. The
dealer handles all the cards and makes all the playing decisions based on the
playing rules of the casino.
Baccarat Playing Rules: The cards are dealt out face up, two each for the
player and banker, and whichever hand totals closest to nine wins. If you’ve
wagered on the player hand and it wins, you are paid even money.
If you wagered on the banker hand and win then you will be paid only 95%
of the bet. There is usually a 5% commission you pay on a bank win. Some
casinos have waved that.
When the cards in a hand total greater than nine, you must add the two
together and drop the digit on the far left (usually a one or a two) to get the
value. i.e., a hand of 9 and a 7 total 16. In this case you drop the “1” and
the value is a total of six (6). Another way of saying this is when the two
cards total more than 9, just subtract 10. i.e., if your two card total is 16 then
dropping the “1” or the first digit makes the value = to 6. If you have a total
of 16 and subtract 10 the your value is equal to 6 also (16-10=6).
If either the player or banker is dealt a value hand of eight or nine; they
stand. The player will also stand on a total value of six or seven.
If the player’s value hand is five or less, then the player will receive a third
card.
If the player stands, then the banker hits on a total of five or less.
Ties pay out 8-1. (Never wager on a tie) There are usually sheets or score
cards the bettor can use (I use these to keep track of my betting line).
PLAYER HAND RULES
8-9 STANDS (Natural)

6-7 STANDS
0-1-2-3-4-5 DRAWS
If the player does not draw a third card, then the bank’s hand stands on 6 or
more and takes a third card on a total of 5 or less. If the player does draw a
third card then the bank must follow the player third card rules below.
There, that wasn't too hard to understand was it? If the player hand has a
total of 6, 7, 8 (natural), or 9 (natural) it stands and for anything else it has to
draw a card. Well, that was the easy part because now it gets a little
complicated.
After the player hand is finished the banker hand must take its turn and if its
first 2 cards total 0,1 or 2 it must draw a card. If its two cards total 7 it must
stand and if the total is 6 it will stand, but only if the player hand did not take
a card.
BANK HAND RULES
8-9 STANDS (Natural)

0-1-2 DRAWS
6 STANDS (If player took no card)
7 STANDS
The only other possible totals the bank can have are 3,4,5 or 6 and the
decision as to whether or not a 3rd card is drawn depends on the 3rd card
that was drawn by the player hand.
When the banker hand has a total of 3 it must stand if the player's 3rd card
was an 8 and it must draw if the player's 3rd card was any other card.
IF BANK HAS 3 and
Player's third card is 8 - BANK STANDS
Player's third card is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10 - BANK DRAWS
was a 1,8,9, or 10 and it must draw if the player's 3rd card was any other
card.
IF BANK HAS 4 and
Player's third card is 1,8,9,10 - BANK STANDS
Player's third card is 2,3,4,5,6,7 - BANK DRAWS
was a 4,5,6 or 7 and it must draw if the player's 3rd card was any other card.
IF BANK HAS 5 and
Player's third card is 4,5,6,7 - BANK STANDS
Player's third card is 1,2,3,8,9,10 - BANK DRAWS
was a 6 or 7 and it must draw if the player's 3rd card was any other card.
IF BANK HAS 6 and
Player's third card is 6 or 7 - BANK STANDS
Player's third card is 1,2,3,4,5,8,9,10 - BANK DRAWS

There you have it - those are the rules of Baccarat concerning the draw of a
third card. As you saw they were a little complicated, but remember that you
don't have to memorize the rules yourself because the dealer will know them
and play each hand by those rules, but you can always ask for a copy of the
rules at the table to follow along.
Here is a table that describes what the banker does after the player receives a
third card.
Here is another table that describes the player and the bankers actions.
The repetition of playing and practicing will make the rules of baccarat
second nature to you in a couple of weeks. I certainly recommend you
understand the rules of standing and taking a third card thoroughly before
you play for money.
It is always wise to check with the casino for a copy of its rules before you
play. There are many casinos out there now and with online wagering now
available some casinos just may change the rules to give them a bigger edge.
Knowledge is power!
Also, always check to make sure you can have a score card at the table.
They usually allow this for baccarat players in order to keep track of the
outcome of each hand (whether the bank or player won). But your use of
that score card should be to use it to keep track of your betting lines.
Counting Cards: Counting cards is a waste of time with baccarat. It has

been reported by some mathematical gurus that counting cards will give you
a very slight edge for only a short period of time. With this in mind card
counting is ineffective when playing baccarat.
Since most baccarat players will tell you that the outcome is more or less
only a guessing game, the FCM betting system becomes a very effective
way to win on a consistent basis.
Tips When Playing at the Full-Scale Table: When you are playing at the
Full-Size table you will get a chance to deal the cards from the shoe. I
recommend you just pass the shoe. Taking your turn at dealing the cards
actually takes time away from you in keeping track of your betting line.
Other Tips:
Never wager on the Tie Bet

Tie bets are invisible and should not be used in any calculations.
Banker will win slightly more hands than the Player (FCM neutralizes that).
Baccarat has more streaks on Banker Wins.
Money management is critical in Baccarat.
FCM (Formula Cycling Method) is the ultimate money management system.
Winning is the only reason you play.
Mini-Baccarat can be a very fast game especially if you are the only bettor at
the table. You may need to take breaks once in a while in order to keep your
composer and concentration. Taking a break means to leave the table for a
substantial amount of time. Another way to slow the game down is in
tipping the dealer. I have been none to say to the dealer, “Hey, I could tip
you a whole lot more if you slow this game down a touch.” It is the old
adage of “Money talks…”
CHAPTER 2
BACCARAT FCM – QUICK STUDY
When using most betting systems you automatically begin to take the human
element out of the game because you are following a set of well-defined
instructions which tells you what to do and when to do it and sometimes
even why. A real good betting system will also remove most of individual
decision making as possible. The Baccarat FCM betting system will do
exactly just that. It was also designed to make the house edge
inconsequential. It allows you to lose up to 66% of the time and still win.
So let’s ask the question, “how does one win playing baccarat?” Here are
some typical answers you might hear: 1) always wager on the banker, 2) get
higher payoffs by wagering on tie or other side bets, or 3) win more hands
than you lose.
It might surprise you that answer 3) is the best answer of those above but it
is also an incomplete one. I would have said win more hands than you lose
if you are betting the same amount each time or if you lose more hands than
you win then your wagers for those winning hands must be collectively
higher amounts wagered than the hands you lost. It’s simple mathematics.
Betting systems are usually put into one of two different types. One is
called positive progression and the other is negative progression. When
using the positive method you would generally increase your bets after each
win and using a negative progression system you would increase your bets
after each loss.
The negative system is usually considered more dangerous because

constantly increasing your wagers when you lose could wipe out your
bankroll faster. However, it does allow you to win when you are losing
more hands than winning ones. Some players would say losing more hands
than winning is the norm.
There is a third betting system type called the flat bet system. This is
where you wager the same amount every hand. Most experience players
would not ever consider this. But keep this in the back of your mind for
later. It just might come in handy.
So let’s compare betting systems with the same series of 16 wagers from a
RNG program. The RNG produced this series of random outcomes; W, W,
L, L, W, L, L, W, L, W, L, W, L, L, L, W. You win 7 times and lose 9
times. You lost 56.25% of the hands.
You are at a $5 minimum table and the first bet with all the systems is $5.
The first system to be examined is called the flat bet system (used by many
novice players). You wager the same amount of money each time. There
were 7 wins and 9 loses. This would net you a $10 loss.
For the positive progression system you use the popular 1 – 3 – 2 – 6

Paroli variation system. The idea is to bet these consecutive units when you
win and start over after the 4th consecutive win. Only wager 1 unit when
after you lose. So at a $5 table if you win four in a row your first bet would
be $5 and you win, then wager $15 and you win, then wager $10 and win,
and then wager $30 and win. So using the above series of wins and loses you
would have a net loss of $55.
For the negative progression system you use the FCM system with a
starting betting line of 1 * 2 * 3. Your first wager is always the table
minimum. You keep betting the minimum (according to the FCM rules)
until you lose your first wager then add that loss to your betting line. Your
next wager is the total of the far left number added to the far right number.
If you lose add the number to the far right. If you win you eliminate (scratch
off) the two numbers that comprised you wager. Your next wager are the
two ends left in the betting line. You continue this process until the betting
line totals 5 or less. Using the FCM system with the above series of wins
and losses after 16 hands you would have a net loss of $5 but please note
your betting line is not closed.
You end up with three different outcomes:

1. Flat Betting ($10) Loss

2. Positive Progression ($45) Loss
3. FCM System ($ 5) Loss
So you can readily see that using three different betting systems will give
you three different outcomes.
Now let’s compare the exact opposite where you win 9 times and lose 7
times. The series is: W, L, W, L, L, W, W, W, L, W, L, L, W, L, W, W.
Those outcomes will be:
1. Flat Betting $10 Win
2. Positive Progression ($30) Loss
3. FCM System $21 Win
Again, I note that in the FCM the betting line was not cycled.
Now let’s compare if you lose 8 hands in a row and then win 8 hands in a
row.
1. Flat Betting $ 0 Push
2. Positive Progression $80 Win
Note: In the Positive Progression system after each fourth win the player
stops and starts over at the minimum.
Note: FCM did cycle and close the betting lines.
Note: FCM did not change the wager placement after the third or fourth loss
in a row as recommended.
Now let’s compare if you win 8 hands in a row and then lose 8 hands in a
row.
2. Positive Progression $80 Win
Note: In the Positive Progression system after each fourth win the player
stops and starts over at the minimum.
Note: FCM Progression technique kicked in after the second win in a row
when no betting line was open.
Note: FCM did quit after the fourth loss in a row as recommended then left
and came back and started over at the minimum wager.
Note: FCM did not quit after first loss of a run and winnings were over
$100.
Note: FCM did not cycle and close the betting lines. (FCM detailed rules of
play explained later chapters)
Now let’s compare the total of these four playing sessions.

2. Positive Progression $ 85 Profit
3. FCM System $ 125 Profit
Now we are going to have to do a little analyzing to give us a better

understanding of this betting situation. First, we have to realize these above
examples were done in a scientific setting and not a casino setting. This
means we do not know what the reality effects would have been but this is a
start.
Just by using the recap of the four sessions you can see that the flat betting
method produced no income in 64 hands. But on a positive note it did not
produce a negative result either. (And that point is well worth noting.)
Looking at the detailed analysis of each betting session you will can draw
these conclusions:
1. Using the flat rate betting method is not good for winning and
taking home a profit.
2. Using the positive progression betting method the highest risk
point was $50 loss reached twice; once in session one and the other
in session two. The highest profit point was $120 win reached in
session four on hand eight. The mean loss average was $25 while
the mean win average was $54. During these 64 hands there were
28 hands with a positive cumulative balance and 36 hands with a
negative cumulative balance. So there was a negative balance 56%
of the time.
3. Using the FCM negative progression betting system the highest
risk point was $68 loss reached in session three. The highest profit
point was $145 win reached in session four on hand eight. The
mean loss average was $22 while the mean win average was $38.
During these 64 hands there were 42 hands with a positive
cumulative balance and 22 hands with a negative cumulative
balance. So there was a negative balance 34% of the time.
These are hard facts. You cannot change them but the results are subject
to interpretation. However it is easy to conclude that you will not get
anywhere in the long run just flat betting. So the importance of finding a
betting system that works for you should be extremely high priority if you
are going to play the game to win.
It stands to reason that just by the mere fact you are reading this, most
probably you are losing at the casino and want to change that outcome.
Good for you. I am not going to tell you the FCM system is the best system
hands down. In fact, I am going to encourage you to learn many betting
systems to put into your knowledge bank. Anyone of them may be better
than the other during certain playing situations. It is your responsibility to
understand that.
If you find over the years of your experience and analysis that there are
certain times and situations that you should not play then again, you have the
responsibility not to play at that time.
During the next chapters you will begin to understand the importance of
my FCM betting method along with the complete FCM betting system is to
the goal of consistent winning on a daily basis.
This book was designed to give you the understanding and knowledge you
need to win each and every time you play. It was not designed to make you
a millionaire. But I can guarantee this, if you can close each betting line
(cycling) then you cannot lose because it is mathematically impossible.

Quick Study:
Using the FCM betting system in a quick study format. The best way to use
the FCM betting system for baccarat is to play at the lowest minimum table
you can find. Many players tell me the lowest table they can find is a $10
minimum. But I am not sure that is accurate. You may find that at certain
casinos the minimum wage will drop down $3 for short periods of time
during off days and early hours. Go to the casino of your choice on the off
days like Monday through Wednesday at 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning and
check them out. It might be a good idea to even ask the dealers or floor
person if they ever have lower minimums and when. They usually do this to
attract players then when the number of players warrant it they will increase
the minimum amounts as you’re sitting at the table.
So you did your homework and you found a $5 minimum table on

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday starting at 5:00 am and usually lasting
until 8:00 am when more players started to arrive. Great! That’s where you
need to start playing.
I strongly urge you to practice at home before going to a live casino and
playing for money. Practicing baccarat at home will give you all the time
you need to keep track of your betting lines and making the right playing
actions as required with the baccarat playing rules.
Using Baccarat Score Cards:

Baccarat is one of the few games that you are allowed to have a pen and
paper at the table. In fact, they encourage you to do and provide you with a
score card to do so.
This card is a great opportunity to keep track of your betting line at the
table. They usually have them at the baccarat tables; just ask for them. And
be prepared; get some and then make your own so the next time you have
them readily available. Being able to keep an accurate betting line with a
pen and paper is definitely a big plus. Your score card will become your
best friend at the table.
The Baccarat FCM Betting System:

The Formula Cycling Method (FCM) is the same in all the games you play.
It is the same as Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and any other game you want to
play.
You always start out wagering the table minimum. For all my examples I
will use the $5 minimum wager and at Baccarat will always start wagering
on “Player”.
Your betting line always starts off with 1 * 2 * 3. You cycle or close your
betting line when it totals 5 or less. As you can easily see the starting betting
line of 1 * 2 * 3 totals 6. So if you cycle or close when it totals 5 or less then
you have automatically won $1 or more. And that is why this system can
guarantee that as long as you cycle you cannot lose.
So you start out with a betting line of 1 * 2 * 3 and your first bet is $5 and
you win. Your betting line stays the same and you again wager the table
minimum of $5 until you have a loss.
So now you have a loss of $5. You add that number to the far right side of
your betting line and your new betting line is now 1 * 2 * 3 * 5. Your next
wager is the total of your far left number (1) and the far right number (5).
This totals 6. So your next wager is 6 and you lose. So your new betting
line is now 1 * 2 * 3 * 5 * 6 and your net bet is 7 and you win.
Now you eliminate both numbers that comprised the bet (1) and (6); 1 * 2
* 3 * 5 * 6. Your new betting line is 2 * 3* 5 and your next bet is 7 and you
win.
Again, you eliminate both number that comprised the bet (2) and (5); 2 * 3
* 5. Your new betting line is just 3. This single number betting line total 5
or less so you have cycled/closed and you start over with the starting betting
line of 1 * 2 * 3 and the next bet of 5 (table minimum).
You continue with this process over and over. Your goal is to play for
about an hour at a time ( I call these playing sessions) and three sessions a
day. You should earn $100 an hour which would net you $300 a day for
playing three sessions.
You can set your goals lower (recommended) for the amount you win per
session and in the beginning you might just want to play one session a day.
The point is to get you accustomed to winning consistently every time you
play.
If you won just $35 a day for the first 30 days, you will have the beginning
of winning $1,000 a month and can increase it gradually. If you have been
losing almost every day, you must learn that you can turn this around to
where you now win every day!
CHAPTER 3
BACCARAT STATISTICS
In this Chapter I will detail 33 hands dealt at a Full Scale table with a
$5 minimum bet. I will detail the Playing Rules I used to determine the
outcome of the play. Always check with each casino you play at and get
a copy of their rules. Not every casino is the same.

Hand by Hand Betting Line Detail:

This is a hand by hand detail of the betting lines based on the above
image and the same 33 hands aforementioned. Your minimum wager is
$5.
The first wager is always the minimum wager placed on the Player (when
to wager on Banker will be discussed in other chapters). The opening
betting line is always 1 – 2 – 3.
Hand 01: Bet was 5 and you loss so you add the 5 to the far right of your
betting line and your new betting line is now 1-2-3-5 with your next
wager of $6 (add the far left number (1) with the far right number (5).
Hand 02: This was a tie. Your opening betting line remains the same 1-
2-3-5 with your wager the same $6. You win.
Hand 03: You win. You eliminate the far right number and the far left
number that made up the $6 wager 1-2-3-5. So now your new betting
line is just 2-3 which totals 5 or less so you have cycled and closed that
betting line. Your next bet is back to the minimum wager of $5.
Hand 04: Your betting line is 1-2-3 with a bet of $5 and you lose. Your
new betting line is 1-2-3-5 (you add your loss to the far right side of the
betting line) and the next wager is $6 (just add the far left number (1)
with the far right number (5).
Hand 05: You win. Your new betting line is(eliminate the far left
number and the far right number) 1-2-3-5 (2-3) , you cycled again. And
now you start over with the opening betting line of 1-2-3 with the
minimum bet of $5.
Hand 06: You lose. So you add the loss of 5 to the far right of your

2-3. This total is 5 or less. You have cycled and closed the betting line

zero and totals 0. So you have cycled and closed the betting line so your

Hand 32: You win. You have cycled. You continue betting the
minimum of $5. Your new betting line is 1-2-3.
Hand 33: You win. You again have cycled. YOU STOP. Your session
is over. You have accumulated a total profit of $25 in about eight
minutes. If you were to continue at this rate you would probably be on a
pace of winning $200 or more.

If you were using a score card your annotations for tracking the betting

Remember, when you are using this score card at the table the casino
will see every notation you make. I doubt very much that the eye in the
sky people would be able to figure this out (unless they purchased my
books.
Believe it or not, the notations above correctly represent all 33 hands

used in this analysis. Just start out adding the 1-2-3 betting line then add
or eliminate as each one of the 33 hands indicate and you will see how
accurate this really is.

CHAPTER 4
ALTERNATIVE TECHNIQUES
Even with rules and structure of a betting system you will quickly see
there are many things that can happen during any casino game that can affect
your profit outcome of your sessions. Some of these can be very obvious
while others are subtle and need someone (like me) to point them out.
The information in this chapter is very informative and can boost your
session profit every time you play. So read it and then read it again. And if
you have the discipline read it a third time and take notes. Some players
may find this important and may also find they can tweak this FCM system
to their own playing at certain casinos. If that is the case, I by all means
encourage you to do so.

5. Tip the dealer when appropriate.
Alternative Techniques You Can Use:

There are several alternative techniques you can incorporate during your
play if the opportunity presents itself and in most cases these are
accomplished by the rules and structure using the FCM Betting System for
Baccarat :
When to start your betting on Banker instead of Player.

When do you switch from Player to Banker and vise-versa.
When to use a progressive type betting sequence during your play.
When to use other betting systems instead of the FCM betting system.
When do you switch games or even betting systems.
When do you tip the dealer.
Alternative ways to keep track of your betting lines.

Betting on Banker/Player:
Most Baccarat gurus will tell you that you should start your betting on
Banker instead of the Player because the Banker will win slightly more
hands than Player over a period of time.
With my FCM Betting System I tell you to start your bets on the Player
because most casinos will charge you a 5% commission on each Banker win.
The FCM Betting System, by design, will offset any slight variations that
causes the higher win ratio of Banker over Player. However, if the casino
you play at does not charge you any commission on Banker, then by all
means start your initial betting on the Banker’s spot instead. The FCM
Betting System rules & structure will automatically take care of the rest.
Progressive Type Betting During Play:

Baccarat is conducive to streaks. I don’t call them losing streaks because
you have the option to wager on PLAYER or BANKER whenever you want.
Using a progressive type betting system during a streak will allow you
more winnings depending on how long the streak last. Use any type of
progressive system you wish. Later on I will discuss my recommendation
and details of how to progressively wager during a streak.
1. When you have just cycled/closed a betting line you bet the minimum
wager. If you win again; bet the minimum, if you win a third time
then start the progressive betting techniques. When you have a loss
during the progressive streak simply add the minimum wager ($5) to
the beginning starting betting line of 1-2-3 and start your normal
betting of (1-2-3-5) the far left and far right end totaling $6 as your
next wager.
2. When you lose three times in a row you do this. If you were betting
on PLAYER, switch your next wager to BANKER. If you win, stay
on BANKER but start a progressive wagering process. If you lose,
still stay on Banker keeping your betting line intact. Don’t switch
unless you lose three in a row; if you do then switch back to
PLAYER.
When Do You Switch Casino Games?

Switching casino games is an alternative move I would use when playing
blackjack. Using the FCM betting system when playing blackjack can
become difficult and tedious for some players because of keeping track of
your betting line. There are times in blackjack when the betting line gets too
long and it becomes hard to keep track just by memory.
So if you are playing blackjack and your betting line is getting too long to
keep track or you just lost three hands in a row then I strongly recommend
you switch games. I would personally move to baccarat because they allow
you to use a score card (or a notebook, pad, etc.) and you can use that to
keep track of your betting lines. Another good reason to switch to baccarat
is because you can switch your betting from PLAYER to BANKER (and
vice-versa) after losing 3 hands in a row without switching games. If you
don’t switch to baccarat then switching to roulette would be my second
choice because at roulette they also have allow a score card at most casinos.
And remember the FCM Betting System will work with any casino game.
Using a Different Betting System:

When you are playing the FCM Betting System and you find yourself just
not doing well, then you might want to consider using another betting
system.
I am probably the only author of a betting system (or one of a very few)
that would ever recommend you switching from my system to something
else. I have always encouraged players to learn other betting systems. It is
just good common sense.
If you do switch, and your outcome from playing a different system gives
you the same dismal results, then you have to recognize the fact the betting
systems are not the real problem. You may need to quit for the day and
really analyze what is going on. You may realize the problem is not the
systems but how YOU are playing them. Or worse yet, you may want to
consider playing at a different casino.
Remember, the FCM betting system is mathematically structured so if you

cycle/close a betting line you cannot lose. So it is safe to say that if you are
losing with the FCM method then you are not cycling. You need to analyze
the situation and find out why. The usual culprit is having an inadequate
bankroll to support cycling.
Methods to Keep Track of Betting Lines:

Using your memory is the best way to keep track of your betting lines while
playing blackjack since they no longer allow using a pad/notebook and pen
at the table. Playing baccarat and roulette is less difficult to keep track of
your betting lines because most casinos allow the use of score cards at those
two table games. So if you are having trouble with keeping track of the
betting lines then I strongly recommend playing baccarat.
Blackjack players need to look into techniques one can use to strengthen
their ability to remember longer betting lines. Another method of keeping
track of betting lines is to use your own chips in front of you at the table.
This method is discussed in detail in another chapter of this book.
Should You Tip the Dealer?

The dealer can be your best friend or your worse foe at the table.
Remember, the dealer is getting paid to do a job and has a stringent list of
casino policies and rules to endure while standing there dealing to the
players for usually an hour at a time. For the most part, the casinos will fire
a dealer in a heart-beat. They are constantly scrutinized by management and
negative reports are issued constantly to put into their employee records to
support termination when deemed necessary.
The first thing I do when I sit down at any table (and don’t recognize the
dealer) is to ask, “Do you get to keep your tips or do you split them amongst
all the other dealers?”. If they announce they get to keep their own tips, then
I immediately tell them to let me know before the leave because I tip at the
end of their session. If I am playing blackjack, I will tip the dealer
immediately after a blackjack by betting the higher payout portion (the
amount above an even payout) for the dealer on the next hand. If I am
playing baccarat or roulette, I will tip the dealer after a long streak in which I
participated in more than a normal profit.
Why do I tip dealers now? I didn’t use to recommend other players to tip
the dealers. I would normally do it but not recommend it. I have changed
my tune and here is why. Dealers are human. They can get accustomed to
getting tips and even count on it as the norm. So if you don’t tip them they
could affect your game negatively. For example, they could make it obvious
by the way they treat you that there is some type of distain against you or
they got a bone to pick with you. And in some cases they may actually try
to work against you by taking your wager as a loss when you actually should
have gotten paid. I have seen it happen. It could be an honest mistake or it
could be on purpose.
And I have seen the opposite happen. I have seen dealers really friendly to
tippers (including myself) and sometimes being the recipient of a payment I
didn’t think I was entitled to. Does it happen very often? Not really, but
when it does I immediately take a large portion of that pay off and place a
bet for the dealer on the very next hand.
I now consider tipping dealers as “part of the cost of doing business”. I

keep personal track of how much I tip the dealers and record it after a
session in my notes like this: won 125.00, dealer tips 20.00, net $105.00. It
is important to know just how much of your winnings is passed back to a
dealer; very important.
It is also worth mentioning that there are some dealers I will not tip. It
may be because I dislike them, I struggle when they are dealing, or
something just is not right when they deal. Whatever the reason is I take this
action. If they are dealing at the table I want to play at, I will not sit down
until they are gone or I go find another table. If I am playing at a table and
they show up and relieve a dealer, I will sit there and not play or I will leave
that table and find another.
If the dealers do not get to keep their own tips and they have to share
amongst all the dealers, I will make it a point to voice my dissatisfaction
over dealers I won’t tip. Why? Because I have found that when I do this the
other dealers may provide me with their own animosity towards that dealer
and provide me with important information that will help me make decisions
in the future about playing at that casino.
When you play on line, tipping is not an issue. So it is also necessary to

keep that in mind because it does affect your bottom line. For example if
you on the average pay out about $70 in tips, then you need to take that into
consideration about why you would play online vs playing at a brick and
mortar casino. And if you keep good stats you may find you make net more
money at a brick and mortar casino than you do online even with taking into
consideration the tips. If that is the case, then that is a strong indication
there is something else going on when you play online.
A Quick Recap:
Betting on Banker/Player: This will help you be on the right side of streaks
and certainly increase your profit for that session. Keeping track of how
many streaks there are and how many of them benefited you would certainly
be an interesting statistic to know.
Progressive Type Betting During Play: This will help you increase your
profit during a session when it happens.
When Do You Switch Casino Games: This should help you doing unusual
times when winning is a struggle. Switching casino games during a session
should always result in a positive. If it does not , then further scrutiny on
your part is certainly justified and required.
Using a Different Betting System: This is usually a timing situation. It

might be the right time to play another betting system that may function
better under your current casino situation. If it does not help, then further
scrutiny on your part is required and justified.
Methods to Keep Track of Betting Lines: The best is being able to keep
track with a score card. Baccarat is my choice. Blackjack should give you
more profit each playing session because of the blackjack payouts, double
downs & splits. But Mini-Baccarat could out do that because of the high
numbers of hands per hour.
Should You Tip the Dealer: Necessary part of doing business when playing
at a brick and mortar casino.

WHY BACCARAT?
I Want To Win Right Now:
There are many players who do not have the patience to ever read this
entire book from front to cover. They will never take the time to practice.
They will never take the time to keep stats. So I have written this very short
synopsis just for them.
First decide if you want to use the FCM system as a unit of ONE ($1) or at
a different denomination like a unit of Five ($5).
If you decide you want the betting line to represent a unit of ONE ($1)
then the opening betting line is 1 * 2 * 3 with the first bet the minimum bet
(this could be $5, $10, or more). I encourage you to sit at the lowest
minimum table you can find. So if your first wager is $5 and you lose then
your betting line would be 1 * 2 * 3 * 5 with your next wager being the sum
of the far right added to the far left number of the betting line which equals
in this case 6. You add your loss bets to the right side of the line and when
you win you eliminate the far left number and the far right number. Since
you started with an opening betting line of 1 * 2 * 3 which totals 6, you
would cycle when the total remaining betting line is 5 or less. This ensures a
profit of a minimum of $1 each and every time you cycle.
If you decide you want the betting line to represent a unit of FIVE ($5)
then the your opening betting line would be 5 * 10 * 15 with the first wager
of the table minimum or of at least $10. If you lose this bet then your
betting line would be 5 * 10 * 15 * 10 with your next wage of $15. Since
your total initial opening betting line is $5 * $10 * $5 which totals $30 then
you would cycle when the total betting line is $29 or less.
And since this is for the impatient player, learn to just struggle through the
cycling process and you will eventually end up a winner if you have enough
bank roll and your wager never goes over the table limit… good luck.
Oh! One more thing; your bankroll. Some of you will decide $200 will be
enough (I don’t think so). So you will probably find out sooner than later
that you will need more. Again, I recommend you always have at least a
$2,000 bankroll that is available to you at the casino. And if there is no way
you have that kind of money right now, you can get there by building it with
the new winnings you will be making each day.
So there you go! If you are one of the “I Want To Win Right Now”
instant gratification type players you have a road map to do so. If you find
yourself on the short end of the stick (busting your bankroll) then I cordially
invite you to read the entire book. But I am afraid that since “I Want To
Win Right Now” is basically a tell-tale sign of the “Gambler” you are not
going to be pleased with this book nor will you take the time to read it and
study it (and asking you to practice every day…).
International Casino’s Chip Denominations:
My books are written for the United States Casinos who use the USD for
their chip denominations. The basic chips are:
White: $1
Red: $5
Green: $25
Black $100.
In doing some research I have found that many international casinos

denominations and values are pretty similar. (I am also sure there are some
that are not.) Since the values of each country’s monetary system changes
from day to day it is sometimes hard to compare. (British Pounds to USD.)
The below evaluations are based on the values as of 11/18/2019.
i.e., in Great Britain they use these basic chips:
White: 60p equal to .74 USD
Red: £3.20 equal to 4.15 USD
Blue: £6.50 equal to 8.43 USD
Green: £16 equal to 20.74 USD
Black: £65 equal to 84.25 USD
Why Play Baccarat?:

The FCM Betting System was modeled and tweaked from the Labouchere
betting system that was designed to be used at the roulette table on the even
payout bets by Henry Labouchere (1831-1912). From the research I have
done, Henry was an aristocrat, a politician, a businessman, and an avid
player of roulette.
His system was structured to the amount of money you wanted to win, break
the total down to smaller amounts, and then eliminate them with wins until
you have them all crossed off. Henry wants you to pick an amount to win
then accomplish that by betting a series of numbers and by elimination you
achieve the total win. If your goal is to win $10, you may create six (even
less or even more) numbers totaling $10, and achieve your goal only when
you have won the total of $10.
On the other hand, the FCM system is built on betting the table minimum
with a short series of numbers that total 6 and you win when the total of your
line 5 or less. This means you will win at least $1. So if your goal is to win
$10 then you do this over and over to achieve your goal. Your risk is less
and the system is based on cycling so you are mathematically guaranteed to
win based on closing the betting line.
The Score Card:

Being able to use the score cards given to you at the baccarat table is by far
the biggest reason to play this game. It allows you to keep track of your
betting line no matter how big it gets. This is a huge factor especially for the
beginner and novice trying to etch out a win when playing at the casino.
The use of this score card cannot be overstated. You now have no excuse to
play and win on a consistent basis. The score card ensures you will not lose
control or accuracy of your betting line.
FCM Originally Designed for Blackjack:

When I designed the FCM Betting System back in the 70’s, only the Full
Scale baccarat tables were available to play (the mini-baccarat tables
wouldn’t be available until the 90’s). The game was usually for the elites
and high rollers and it was slow as all get out. Getting 40 to 50 hands dealt
per hour was the norm and considered as slow as watching paint dry.
I was immediately attracted to blackjack because the game back then

was dealt with one or two decks and the higher payout on hitting a natural
blackjack along with doubling down and splitting made the game more
lucrative. Back in the early days of my system I could get 75 to 100 hands
dealt per hour in blackjack. And utilizing a basic playing strategy with the
proper usage of splitting and doubling down your total wins were larger for
each playing session without card counting.
Starting in the 90’s casinos started to realize that blackjack being a

mathematical game, more and more players were able to use blackjack to
their advantage; especially with card counting. Since then, the casinos
started to fight back. They would adjust their policies and procedures
against the players using math and betting managements (betting systems) to
reverse the current trend. The casinos started to increase the table
minimums and decrease the table maximums in order to achieve their
desired results. And they were successful.
Only players with a keen sense of math and discipline were able to survive
the new norm in blackjack.
From Blackjack Back to Baccarat:

In the year 2020, I now encourage players to play baccarat with my Baccarat
FCM Betting System that I have now published:
1. You can keep track of your betting lines with score cards.
2. You can switch from PLAYER to BANKER (and vice-versa) to take
advantage of streaks (I no longer call them losing streaks).
3. You can accelerate your profits by the use of a progressive betting
system when catching a streak.
4. Playing mini-baccarat can produce 150 – 200 hands per hour resulting
in winning from $200 per hour to $300 per hour at a $5 minimum
table.
5. No worries about losing streaks.
6. No worries about losing double down & split bets.
7. No worries about being labeled a card counter.
8. No worries about being banned from the casinos.
You can make a lot of money playing the Baccarat FCM Betting System
on a regular basis. But I would never recommend you making your entire
living from just casino action; never, never, never! In the beginning,
working full/part time and playing casino games part time is a winning
combination that I fully support. I also recommend you become self-

employed in your field of expertise giving you more control over your
destiny. Later on after you are convinced you are an expert and you have
the results to prove it then by all means quit your day job.
A Winning Working/Playing Scenario:

Getting yourself married to a full or part time job along with playing casino
games for income is a real and viable situation. For example, here is one
scenario that works out very well.
You decide to prepare tax returns for your day job and play baccarat on a
few days a week to supplement your income. There are two tax seasons.
The first one begins around February 1 and ends April 15 of each year. That
gives you 74 days to file returns. The second season is the filed extensions
that starts on April 16 and ends October 15 of each year. That is an
additional 183 days to file returns. That is a total of 257 days to file returns.
If you only filed a return on the every other day, you would have prepared
about 128 returns. The tax preparer charges an average of $150 per return.
So working only 128 days in the combined tax season would net you
$12,000 plus just from preparing taxes. Word of mouth recommendations
from you current clients will be your best marketing and sales tool.
You can play baccarat four days a week for three hour sessions a day.
That results in 208 days of playing baccarat. If you just earn $500 per day
(you should be earning close to $900 a day), you would be bringing in over
$100,000 a year in casino game winnings. That is a combined $112,000 a
year income to support yourself or a family. So the numbers are there; you
just have to study, practice, and make it a truism.
In fact, a good tax preparer doing all the work themselves, will produce
about 350 prepared returns during the normal tax season and another 150
filed returns in the tax return extension period. That is a total of 500 x $150
equaling $75,000 for the day job along with a $100,000 a year in casino
winnings all adds up to a good viable and productive living wage.
Today’s Technology:
With the super cell phone technology and the internet one can reach the
above goals rather easily in many industries; accounting, consulting, sales,
tax preparation, medical auditors and stay at home administrators to name a
few.
The cell phone is now so advance it becomes your virtual office and the
internet becomes your vehicle to receive and send documents no matter
where you might be. The cell phone and internet makes it easy to become a
self-employed entrepreneur. And the internet also becomes your casino
when playing online. But you won’t achieve anything unless you set your
goals and work at it.
Baccarat and Your Success:

Baccarat should be you preferred casino game. Read this book over and
over. Practice the system at home and prove to yourself you can accomplish
what I have present to you. And although I know I won’t live forever, I do
know you will be thanking me for many years to come and even after I am
gone.

Your first wager is the table minimum betting on PLAYER.
1. After you cycle or close a betting line start over with the minimum
bet and the predetermine betting line of 1-2-3.
2. If you win three in a row immediately after you close a betting
line, then switch to a progressive bet until you lose.
3. If you lose three bets in a row then switch your bets from
PLAYER to BANKER and vice-versa.
Tip the dealer when appropriate.
CHAPTER 6
STREAKS & PROGRESSIVE BETTING
When I speak with blackjack players they always tell me the horror stories
of how many and how big the losing streaks were. But they never mention
anything about the winning streaks. And they never mention anything about
playing too long and stretching their losing from 3 to 5 to sometimes 7 or
more.
All of that changes when you play Baccarat. As you have read in the
previous chapters, I know longer call them losing or even winning streaks.
When playing baccarat they are just called streaks.
I have already showed you a strategy on how to get on the right side of
streaks, and in the same process to accelerate your profits.
Increasing the Minimum Bet After Consecutive Cycling in a Row:
When you hit a streak and win several hands in a row in an open betting
line you will get the full financial benefit of the results. However, once you
cycle and you immediately win after a cycling/closing of the opening betting
line, the FCM betting system automatically turns into a flat betting system
by betting the same table minimum over and over. This situation is solved
by changing to a progressive betting system as stated in the previous
chapters.
Progressive Betting Systems:
Let’s imagine you just lost 3 PLAYER bets in a row and you switch the
next wager to BANKER and you win. So you keep wagering on BANKER
and you win again, and again, and again. You have now cycled and you are
continuing to win but now you are betting the table minimum (maybe its
$10) over and over. Now is a good time (and common sense) to deviate
from the FCM rules in my previous books and switch to a progressive
betting system. Yes, you may have already seen nine banker wins in a row
(including the first three you loss on) but streaks can go on and on. I have
seen several 17 banker wins in a row at the baccarat table and even one that
went as high as 26 bankers wins in a row.
So let’s continue to imagine you switched now switch to a progressive

betting system and the streak continued as high as 15 more wins in a row.
That is big money if you switched to a progressive system.
There are many progressive systems out there. You can do your own
research and find another one you like. But I will say this; try to find one
that you pull off some of the winnings on each wins. i.e., you have just
cycled during a short win streak and you wager the minimum bet of $10 and
you win. I would press the entire win and your next wager is now $20 and
you win. Now I would pull back $5 from that win and press the rest with
your next wager being $35 and you win. Now I would pull back $10 and
press the rest with your next wager being $60 and you win again. I would
pull back $15 and press the rest with your next wager being $105 and you
win again. You now have a total of $210 on your spot. PULL BACK $200
and start over with the $10 wager.
You have won six more in a row and have pulled back a total of $230.
Had you continued to just bet the table minimum of $10 each bet as the
FCM system calls for you would have only won $60.
Again, I have found the many different types of betting system will have
some very good value in certain circumstances. And in the matter of the
Baccarat FCM Betting System this is one of those times.
Other Progressive Betting Techniques:

Below I will discuss four popular progressive betting systems. Please do
your research and make your on decision on any or all of them. It never
hurts to learn and have additional knowledge in your casino game playing
tool box:
1. Paroli Progressive Betting System
2. 1-3-2-6 Progressive Betting System
3. Contra D’Alembert System
4. One Half Up.
Paroli Progressive Betting System:

1. Use the minimum bet as your base wager.
2. Every time you win double your wager. i.e., You start with betting $5
and you win; your next wager is $10 and you win; your next wager is
$20 and you win and STOP. Now you start over betting the minimum
of $5.
3. Any time you lose your next bet is the minimum wager of $5 and you
now restart the FCM betting line putting the $5 loss on the far right of
your betting line.
1-3-2-6 Progressive Betting System:

1. Use the minimum wager as your first bet. In this case we will use $5.
2. Your first wager wins you are now wagering $15 (3 x the minimum).
3. Your second wager wins you are now wagering $10 ( 2 X the
minimum).
4. Your third wager wins you now wager $30 (6 x the minimum).
5. You win the fourth wager you now revert back to the minimum wager
and start over.
6. Any time you lose your next bet is the minimum wager of $5 and you
now restart the FCM betting line putting the $5 loss on the far right of
your betting line.
The Contra D’Alembert Progressive Betting System:

1. Use the minimum wager as your first bet. In this case we will use $5.
2. Increase your wager by $5 after every win.
3. Reduce your bet by $5 after every loss.
This progressive betting system is better to use if you decide the FCM
betting system is not working and you want to switch betting systems.
The One Half Up Progressive Betting System:

1. Use the minimum wager as your first bet. In this case we will use
$10.
2. You win this bet so your next wager is still $10.
3. You win this bet and your next wager is now $15.
4. You win this bet and your net wager is now $20.
5. If you lose you start over with the FCM system and $5 is your
minimum bet.
This progressive betting system is also better to be used as a replacement
for the Baccarat FCM Betting System. If that is the case, then after a loss
you will revert to the $10 minimum and start the One Half Up progressive
system all over again and repeat the process.
CHAPTER 7
ONLINE BACCARAT
I encourage players to play online but also encourage them to use great
caution in doing so. It is so inviting for a player to wager online instead
of getting into a car and traveling sometimes 15, 30 or even 100 miles to
play at a brick and mortar casino. It doesn’t have to take much arm
twisting to convince somebody to stay in the comfort of their own home
and play online.
For years I was against playing online for very good reasons but have
recently changed my mind. There are many regulated casinos
internationally and US nationwide that are now operating both online and
at brick and mortar buildings. When you pick those casinos to play
online it is very important only to play at establishments that are licensed.
This means some form of government control has some oversight on
what the casino can do and does. It also gives you a place to file a
complaint if necessary.
With this in mind I have developed a specific list of things to check and
verify before, during, and after you play online:
1. Try to play at online casinos that are being regulated (licensed).

2. Do a search for positive or negative reviews.
3. Try to play with live baccarat games.
4. Make sure you do not have to jump through hoops to get paid.
5. Read their online playing agreement in its totality.
6. Try to have several different accounts at different online
casinos.
7. Know how to contact some regulatory authority if you have a
complaint.
8. Understand the process and how long it should take.

9. Understand that anything being transmitted can be manipulated
in a split second; even live play.
The biggest advantage of playing online is having the ability to keep track
of your betting lines with a pen and pad in the comfort of home.
And you must remember that the online casino can keep track of your
every wager. Though I think it is better to play baccarat online than it is to
play blackjack online. With baccarat all they have to keep track of will be
your wager. With this in mind there are some online casinos who have in
their agreements that any betting system can be deemed illegal and they
have the right to cancel your account and confiscate any balance in your
account. This is why it is important that you READ the agreements.
Researching Online Casinos:

Go to google and do your research. Look for the best casinos to play online
baccarat. Search for complaints filed against casinos, recent reviews,
licensed online casinos, and secrets on online casinos.
Then after that search go to Bing and do your searches all over again. You
will be surprised as to the difference Bing vs Google on this type of
information.
In writing this book I did an exhaustive search on Google and Bing in

order to ascertain which online casino is the best to play. Although this
should not be considered a recommendation, the casinos that come up more
and more in a consensus are: William Hill, 888 Casino, Casino.com,
Betway, and Tonybet Casino.
Be Warry of Internet Information:

You have to understand that online casinos make big money. So there is a
great deal of competition to get their names out in front of you as deemed
the “Best” casinos to play… So it should be no surprise if you find this
information to be flawed and constantly changing over short periods of time.
Yes, do you due diligence and do your research. But nothing can compare
to your own experience so keeping records and stats is very important. Also,
join some baccarat blogs and get to know a few of the regulars and build a
rapport.
Your Personal Results:

Your personal results will always be the best judge and indicator if you are
getting a fair shake. There is no substitute for personal experience when
judging fairness. But I say it again and again; you must keep statistics and
records.
The Value of Practice Results:

The biggest reason, I believe, why players fail at winning when playing
casino games is simply they do not practice.
Practice is so important especially for playing online. The practice stats

gives you a base line to compare your live stats play with. And this is
extremely important.
When you practice at home the results should be considered to be true and
fair. Afterall, you are the one doing or controlling the dealing and playing.
So your personal practice results are the best base of comparison.
1. Compare the profit outcome from practice against live play for the
same period of time. If you win $225 per hour at practice play but
only win $50 per hour or less in live play; then this is a huge red flag.
2. Compare the total wins vs losses ratio. If you lose 60% of the time
during practice but still win big (this is the affect of the FCM system)
but lose more than 67% of the time (this is the max ratio you should
be losing playing the FCM system) i.e., 70% or higher during live
play. Then this is another big red flag.
3. Compare the number of streaks. Your practice session should give
you a sense of what the norm is over a period of time. If your live
play shows a big difference then this is another problem.
When you see one of these red flags you need to keep a close eye on your
live play results. Chances are good that the outcome of the hands are being
manipulated. If you see all three of the red flags, it is very apparent you are
not getting a fair chance and its time to leave that online casino and
withdraw all your money as fast as you can.
Online Negatives vs Brick & Mortar Casinos:

One of the biggest negatives of playing online vs the brick & mortar casinos
is you don’t get to see other player’s actions. In fact, you don’t know if
there are other players.
When sitting down at a table in a casino you can immediately see how the
other players are doing by looking at their chip stacks in front of them. You
don’t get that option online.
Baccarat is the only game where watching the other players chip stacks is
important. Why? Because in baccarat the same cards dealt out each hand
affect each player the same; exactly the same. The difference of winning or
losing is only determined if you wager on PLAYER or BANKER. The
Chinese players love baccarat and are very intuitive to the game. So when
you see a group with all of them having huge chip stacks in front of them,
you may want to consider mimicking their play.
Online software used in running the game can be manipulated. You

cannot beat a casino if they are cheating. Your comparison to your own
practice statistics is the best way to make that determination.
Another online negative is the process of collecting your winnings

(cashing out). If you win big, but can’t get your money out without jumping
through hoops, then that should also be a consideration of whether you
continue playing with that online casino or not. When you leave a brick and
mortar casino your cash out is instantaneous. This is something you need to
consider when playing online.
CHAPTER 8
GOOD LUCK VS BAD LUCK
What is (Good/Bad) Luck?:

Luck is usually defined as success or failure apparently brought by chance
rather than through one’s own action or ability. Things that happen by
accident and without being plan.
The best thing that can happen to you at casinos that you frequent on a
regular basis is to have a reputation as being very lucky. If somebody blurts
out, “That guy sitting over there (pointing to you) is the luckiest player I
have ever seen” that should be sweet music to your ears. That scenario has
happened to me many times during my playing career. And I have learned
to quickly respond, “I would rather be lucky than good.”
Think about it. The FCM system will make you into a consistent winner.
Getting a reputation of just being awful lucky is the greatest cover (staying
under the casino’s radar) you can hope for. Don’t shy away from it.
Encourage and embrace it if you can.
Another important benefit will begin to happen. I am sure you have heard
the saying of success breeds more success. And if you want to be successful
surround yourself with successful people. Well that works with luck too.
Being called lucky is always a positive connotation (good luck). So good
luck will breed more god luck. And using the FCM system will only have
other players justifying your winning as just being lucky.
So remember that if you, yourself think you are the luckiest player to ever
step in a casino, then that is what you will become. Good luck will always
surround you and it will come faster than breeding rabbits. Being lucky
then becomes the result of winning. Being lucky is just plain good!
What is Bad Luck?:

If you said bad luck was the opposite of good luck, that would be very
accurate. But at the casino it is a little different. Bad luck is nothing more
than pure unadulterated negativity. In many cases bad luck is simply a
justification for losing. And just like good luck or success, bad luck will
breed more bad luck. I think you know what is coming next… avoid being
associated with unlucky players.
Other Points to Consider:

Staying under the casino radar means simply you don’t want your play to
stand out. In baccarat this is not such a concern as it is when playing
blackjack. But diversion of consistent winning always helps your cause.
The Baccarat FCM Betting System has a built in “streak” technique that
requires you to change betting from PLAYER to BANKER (and vice-versa)
which gives you an automatic feel of NOT playing a system.
Also, changing from the FCM Betting System to a Progressive style of

betting during a streak actually portrays you as a gambler and not a system
player. This should be a welcomed diversion and benefit you reap from the
FCM Betting System.
Get a comp card. Understand that this is another way of tracking your play
but in baccarat the only thing they can track is your wagering. So having a
comp card is also another way for you to appear to fit into the regular player
category.
At the baccarat table you can be more relaxed. It is not as fast paced as a
blackjack game and in baccarat you can keep track of your betting lines with
a score card. Not all casinos allow this so find the ones that do. It is ok to
fit in with the rest of the players and strike up conversations; this also gives
you cover as the professional player would avoid that. Just don’t let it
detract from your ability to keep track of your betting lines.
You should have no problem winning on a consistent basis. This also

should be not a big deal if you keep your wins staggered and alternate your
play at several casinos. Winning $200 to $300 a day two to three days a
week and then $200 to $300 a day three or four days a week at another
casino should not be a cause for alarm. But if you start winning $1,000 a
day at the same casino day after day… that will cause the to stand up and
take notice.
However, I have never heard of anyone being banned from baccarat unless
it was for cheating of some kind. So I urge you baccarat players not to get
too paranoid on being banned. But it still doesn’t hurt to be conscious of
how much you win on a consistent basis apply some diversion tactics if you
can.
Playing Baccarat Online and Casino’s Retribution:
The most important thing to remember about playing online baccarat is the
casino can keep very good track of your winnings and play with their
software.
Retribution form the casino can come in two forms:

1. The casino could recognize you are winning too consistently
and use software to manipulate the outcome. (I strongly believe
they could do so even with a live game.)
2. The casino could recognize you are winning too consistently
and claim you violated their rules and confiscate your winnings,
your account balance and not refund any of it to you. (Again, it
is very important to read and have a copy of your online
agreement.)
CHAPTER 9
KEEPING TRACK OF BETTING LINE WITH CHIPS
In order to win on a consistent basis with the Baccarat FCM Betting

System you have to cycle. You have to close your open betting line. Once
you cycle you have won at least $1 dollar. If you stopped at that point you
are a winner. It is that simple.
So once you continue wagering and you lose, your betting line becomes
open and you have to close it to cycle. Simple.
The problem is for most players (Probably 99.9999/%) have a difficult

time tracking a betting line without a pen and pad. At a blackjack table this
becomes the case because no pen or pad is allowed. But at the baccarat table
they allow score cards and you can successfully use it for tracking the
outcome of the hands. So you can use that score card to track your betting
lines.
But what if the casino won’t allow the use of a score card? What do you
do then? You could keep track of the betting lines by memory… really?
That is easier said than done. There are many methods out there to improve
your short term memory ability. I strongly suggest you start that process
today. But that will take some time. So what do you do in the meantime?
Using Your Chips to Track Your Betting Line:

Over the past few years I have developed a way to keep track of your betting
line with your casino chips that you have at the table. There is absolutely no
casino in the world that will ask you to take chips off the table.
So how is this done?

First buy in for $500. You should go to the cashier window and get your
chips there (50 White, 50 Reds, & 8 Green Chips = $500). You will use
these chips to both for your wagers and to keep track of your betting line.
Below is an image of how you would arrange the chips in front of you to
represent the betting line. It is simple to understand.

Some of the players combine some of the open betting line with memory
and some with chips. Others just use chips to represent the betting line.
This is a handy alternative but you certainly may need to practice it at home
in order to use it with ease at the blackjack or roulette tables.
Memory Techniques:
The best way to strengthen your memory in order to remember long lines
of an open betting line is simply plain old repetition you receive when you
practice and practice every day. Below are some betting line representations
you can print out, then cut our and paste them on a 3 x 5 card to use as a
flash card and study tool. If you can learn how to use your memory for the
open betting lines then the sky will be the limit for you in consistent
winning.

Copy and cut out the two above betting line representations and put them
on separate 3 x 5 cards to use them as study and flash cards. Laminate them
if possible. Sit down and create some more betting lines that are a little
longer and do the same process. You may have noticed the numbers in red
have been struck through and that represents your elimination of the two
numbers at each end of the betting line when you win.
Re-educate Yourself:
When you were very young and just started the learning process of how to
read and write you were simultaneously learning to read one letter or a small
group of letters (comprising of one word) at a time. But you were also
taught sub-consciously when you saw an image, like a picture of a person,

you visualized the entire image (not just part of it).
But you can change that right now. You can re-program yourself to
visualize an entire page full of words and enable yourself to comprehend the
page. This is exactly what speed readers teach themselves. Want some
proof you can do this? Find yourself a clock that is at least the same size as
a piece of paper (8 ½ x 11”). Look at it. When you do you will realize you
see it as whole. You see all the numbers and the positions of the clock hands
all at the same time in its totality and you instantly recognize the correct
time.
Ah! But there is a catch here. You will have to take the time to learn this
process and that will take time and practice. Go and google learning to
speed read. Or google learning how to build my short term memory. And
google learning how to visualize into memory. There are many different
techniques and they all will help you to improve your ability to visualize
your betting lines without pen and pad. Practicing using your chips to
represents your open betting line is a visualization technique that will
eventually make you a wizard with your short term memory.

CHAPTER 11
BACCARAT – THE GAME TO PLAY
Baccarat has turned out to be a shiny star and very compatible with the
FCM Betting System. That is actually no surprise to me since I modeled the
FCM after the Labouchere system which was used exclusively with roulette
and was easily converted to work with baccarat.
As you should know by now I took that system and tweaked it to use with
blackjack. After a year of tweaking it, it turned out very effective by adding
the cycling system to it.
Now I have accomplished the same with Baccarat. The Baccarat FCM
Betting System and the casino game of baccarat fit like an expensive pair of
leather gloves. These are the main traits that makes this system very
successful with baccarat:
1. All betters get the same cards. Betters have no decisions to make.
2. There are no betters actions that affect the outcome of the game.
3. There is a technique to take advantage of streaks.
4. There is a technique to automatically switch from Player to Banker
and vice-versa.
5. Once you make the first wager the FCM system dictates your play.
6. FCM system dictates the wager amount.
7. The FCM system negates the house advantage.
8. The FCM system allows you to win on a consistent basis.
9. As long as you CYCLE, it is mathematically impossible to lose.
Practicing the Baccarat FCM Betting System is also a whole lot easier
since you can use a Random Number Generator (RNG) to produce hand
outcomes in minutes; not hours if you so choose. Other tools (found on my

website) allow you to analyze the hand outcomes in a quicker fashion in
order to see the FCM system function by simulating hours of play. These
tools are still under construction. Random Number Generators can be used
to produce a series of W/L that can represent the outcome of Player or
Banker. This is an easy way to see the FCM system produce profit in a
random fashion.
I understand quite well that the new players trying to make money playing
blackjack and/or baccarat want instant gratification. Most of them want to
achieve this by just using their cell phones with online baccarat at home or
on the run. The book has recognized that and have given those type of
players plenty of information and tools to still win on a consistent basis.
However, as someone who has experience in the gaming industry for over
50 years there is nothing that can replace the old fashion training methods
which include practicing the game in the same environment you will play in.
Go get yourself a reasonably priced baccarat felt mat. If you search online
you can probably get a good one for a reasonable price. The action and
experience of dealing out PLAYER and BANKER hands and then recording
it with a pen and pad will be your best plan to learn my system. Being able
to place wagers on the proper PLAYER/BANKER spots on a game felt also
goes a long way in simulating actual play. If you take the time to do this and
then plug in the results with my tools given to you on my website, it will
certainly give you the results of consistent winning built by a strong
foundation of practicing. These special tools are currently under
