The Legend of Dracula begins in 1431, in Sighisoara, Transylvania,

a region known for the picturesque beauty of the Carpathians.
Dracula makes a vow in order to become immortal and therefore
becomes the most famous vampire who inspired hundreds of
writers and directors.
Asleep for several centuries, Dracula returns to life, to tell his real
story and to seek his lost love.

The elders in Dealu Mare still recall a certain night, when all
the villagers were called at the Landlord’s castle and sent to
find his daughter, who was missing.
They searched for hours, but they couldn’t find anything in the
dark mist.
She showed up at the gates in the morning, mumbling
something about a tall, mysterious man who carried her from
the castle alcove to the vineyard and whispered a seducing
story in her ear all night long. Then he kissed her on the neck,
and a drop of blood poured on the ground.
For three years after that night, the vineyard
had no crop. When it finally did, the wine
made from its grapes was darker and
stronger than it used to be.

The brewing of firewater has a long tradition in the north-west lands of Transylvania, Romania.
The brewing techniques preserved in this area date from 1570. Legendary Dracula has in portfolio no less than 6 different
types of natural Palinca, all produced traditional and highly enjoyed equally by locals and people from all around the world.

But what is in fact this liquor called Palinca? Actually, it goes by more than just a name, it is also known
as tuica, horinca, jinars or rachiu, depending on the area in Romania where it is produced.
Palinca is a double distilled alcoholic beverage obtained by fermenting ripe fruits. It is a 100% natural product,
with no added sugar, synthetic flavors, alcohol or other sort of ingredients.
Its unique flavor comes only from the fruits it is produced from.

Maturation and aging are the processes that turn it into a fine liquor. Maturation in oak barrels gives it a golden,

In a cold winter, a member of the Order of the Dragon was travelling

through Transylvania in a secret mission. His coach got attacked and
plundered by outlaws. Badly wounded, he managed to escape in the
woods. After a while, frozen to death and almost unconscious, he sensed
a man kneeling beside him and pouring some cold liquid through his
lips. Then, like in a dream, he saw the frozen trees passing by with
an incredible speed while he was hanging on the mysterious man’s
shoulder…
As he found out later, the potion that saved his life was a genuine
