™M Gmail ‘Terri Larkin George Family Prayer Letter ‘Tmessage Brent George Mon, Jan 4, 2021 at 9:36 AM Reply-To: Brent George To: missions @biblebaptistkpt.com cit We hope you all had a wonderful time with friends and family as you celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ, As we begin a new year, we wanted to give a quick rundown of what we did during the last month or so. This year, with the help of many from the US, Canada, and Romania, we were able to provide Christmas gifts for several gypsy children in Medies, Turulung, and Dorolti, In addition to putting giant smiles on the faces of the childrbRRED CET also gave us an opportunity to share the Gospel with them through the Btoryaf 1 > the birth of the Christ. We were also able to show the love of Christ by|providing food for about twenty of the poorest families in these areas. The week before Christmas, we had some singers and musicians from a neighboring village come with us to Turulung for a Christmas concert and evangelistic outreach. The Church building was packed as the Gospel was preached, In Romania, we always have a service late on Christmas Eve, and then another service the evening of Christmas. This year, we were able to have a baby dedication for three children during the Christmas Eve service. Each service was about two hours, full of wonderful music (including special programs by the teens and the children), and the preaching of the Word of God. And, of course, great food and fellowship following the services. New Year's Eve is also a big event for us. We meet from 10:00 or 10:30 until midnight for more music, preaching, and prayer to get the new year started of right, The service is followed by a fireworks show, and then visiting in several houses throughout the village until the early hours of the next morning. Unfortunately, this year we were not able to participate, In between Christmas and New Year's, Sara and Bethany started showing signs of Covid. We have been isolating as a family for the past week. Thankfully, both of them are starting to feel much better. Please remember to pray for us as we go throughout this new year, We have many plans, but we will need Covid restrictions to ease if we are to accomplish all of these plans. Pray that the Lord will give us grace and wisdom as we plan for a brief trip to the US (Brent and Danae), camps around the country, Ladies’ Bible studies, a free medical clinic, and much more.
