1. Eduard Lee Thorndike

-Considered as the father of Educational Psychology.
-He was devoted throughout his career to
understanding the process of learning.

2. Johann Henrich Pestalozzi

-Swiss social reformer and educator,is known as the
father of Modern Education.
-Believed in the ability of every individual human
being to learn and in the right of every individual to
education.

3. Jean Piaget
-Piaget's 1936 theory of cognitive development and
epistemological view are together called “generic
epistemology”. Piaget placed great importance on the
education of children.
4. Maria Tecla Artemisia Montessori
-was an Italian physician and educator best known for
the philosophy of education that bears her name,and her
writing on scientific pedagogy.

5. Jerome Serymour
-was an American psychologist who made significant
contribution to human cognitive psychology and
cognitive learning theory in educational psychology.
