SUGGESTIONS:

The traditional learning methodology of academic institutions worldwide was influenced by COVID-19.
Online lectures/classes were selected by the administrations of schools, colleges and universities as an
alternate way to resume education. Although online learning is helpful in protecting the health of
students and faculty in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is not as successful as traditional
learning. In underdeveloped countries like Pakistan, where an overwhelming majority of students are
unable to access the internet due to technological as well as monetary problems and that's why online
learning cannot yield desired results. Students in the country have also identified a few other problems
in addition to technological and monetary concerns, such as lack of contact with the teacher, reaction
time and lack of conventional socialization in the classroom. The absence of on-campus socialization has
created problems for learners.

The government needs to initiate a multi-stakeholder response to ensure high-speed internet

connectivity and availability across the country. For education systems that expect school closures, the
government also needs to formulate emergency management protocols. Teachers need to be
technologically literate with infrastructure and expertise in such a framework to help children continue
their learning during any possible pandemics through blended learning platforms. However, unless
communities and parents are informed, all these efforts will not produce the desired results.
