1. What do you think are the pressing issues concerning children in your

mga bata sa inyong barangay)

Protection of Children (BCPC) to address or respond to these
children’s issues? (Naiisip mong suporta, tulong o programa na
maaaring isagawa ng mga opisyal ng barangay o BCPC upang
mabigyan ng solusyon ang mga isyung kinakaharap ng mga bata sa
inyong barangay)

They should make policies to address the problem and able to use
the allocated budget of BCPC for conducting activities that involves
the participation of the children. They should also monitor if there is
any abuse happening to every child in our barangay.

3. How can a child like you help in addressing these issues? (Paano
kaya makakatulong ang isang batang tulad mo upang mabigyan ng
kasagutan ang mga isyu ng mga bata sa barangay?)
As a BCO President, I should have the initiative to talk to Barangay
Officials especially when there is any problem concerning the
children. I should lead them to make sure that they should not hurt
other children and enjoy their rights in the barangay. With the help of
BCPC, we will be able to conduct activities to make the children
participate and enjoy knowing that they have rights to be protected
but they have also the responsibility that they should not hurt others.

4. What are your Insights and Learnings from the topics and the
activity? (Iba pang mahahalagang bagay na iyong napagtanto o
natutunan sa isinagawang aktibidad)

I learned that every child has rights and responsibilities to be

protected. The right to survival, development, protection, and
participation. I learned also that the child is defined according to
Article 1 of UNCRC as 17 years old and below and also the 18 and
above that has special needs and they are not able to protect
themselves. I also learned that every child has the right to participate
despite of their races, age, religion, sex and gender. They have the
right to express their opinions and voice out what they feel and
experience in the community. Lastly I learned the definition and the
practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and also to protect them
from any illness involving the virus.
