Export economy- in order your country be called develop country

Philippine sector-

NOTE:

Production capacity of Philippines is limited.

Philippines have low rate in research.

Media industry is not competitive.

Increasing of production capacity especially in investment.

Hard cash/currency- american dollar, Canadian dollar

NOTE: Our product and services must have value added.

Export- this our goods coming from domestic market to be sold outside of the country

Import- situation where you buy accomodity goods or services from abroad to be you use in your
country (tools,equipment. Oil) needed to pay using dollar

NOTE: Dapat maraming export or mas madami ang binebenta.

Surplus trade- defines as a situation wherein the level of export is greater than import.

Deposit trade- define as a situation wherein the level of import is greater than the level of expert

Balance trade- situation where in the level of import and export is relatively equal to each other

Investment- capitalization of funds or resources to build or create production capacity

NOTE:

In 1979 - 800 million is the capitalization by china

12 trillion dollars is the GDP of China (Second to America)

Asian tigers- Japan, Thailand, Korea- They open foreign investment to create and sell product.

China- The factory of the world

- They built factory in order to have an income dollar.

The economic development of Philippines

• Philippines can`t sustain for being top.

• Philippines have a lack of entrepreneur.

• Phillippines has most professional only than science technology.

• Philippines is contented only in domestic market

- What are we going to use in our production.

- Capital Intensive (machines, tools, equipments)

Economic System - institution in the society which dominates and make fundamental economic choices.

1. Traditional Economy - A traditional economy is rooted in long-standing cultural customs. Resources

are allocated through inheritance or by decisions of cultural leaders, and the new generation performs
the same economic roles as their parents and grandparents before them.

2. Command Economy - A command economy (also called a planned economy) is one in which economic
decisions are controlled by a central authority, usually the state (government).

3. Free Market Economy - A market (also called capitalist) economy is one in which answers to the three
basic questions are the cumulative result of many individual decisions about WHAT TO BUY and WHAT
TO SELL in the public marketplace.

4. Mixed Economy - Basically a mix of a rather such as market combined with a planned economy.

• Capitalism - Country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners rather than the state.

• Communism - Total control of the state. State owns all the property and resources.

• Socialism - Combination of capitalism and communism.

Economic Goals

1. Economic Growth - increase the level of production which results in the increase of income and
wealth.

2. Progress - Application of new technology and system in which result to economic growth.

- The medium of economic growth

3. Full Employment - The maximum utilization of resources available in a country.

4. Economic Stability - The predictability, there is no sudden changes in the fundamental of economic
system.

5. Economic Security - Level of confidence.
