HM Government of Gibraltar confirms, in accordance with regulation 1/10, paragraph 5 of the above
Convention that an application for recognition of a certificate of competency has been received from:

The application has been approved and this document serves as the documentary proof required by
regulation 1/10 of the Convention.
The holder may serve in the capacity stated on the certificate of competency for a maximum period of 3
months from the date of this document while the final endorsement document is prepared and transmitted
to the seafarer.
Any tanker endorsements held by the seafarer and submitted as part of the application have also been
approved and recognition of them will be certified on the final endorsement.
