Being an ideal Filpino holds a lot of responsibility and accountability.

It is important that in
upholding virtues of justice, social and moral uprightness, the foundation for it is proper and right.
As a student aspires leadership skills, it is important to set their models for moral compass and
good governance. It is important that a leader is competent and will always strive for success; but
then, one must still always be able to empower other people and encourage by being a model.

In our current setup, most of our leaders are not qualified as to what traits and qualities they
should have in order to be effective. A perfect example of this is on our Government’s response
to the COVID-19 pandemic, the people have been failed and is always resorted to their resiliency.
Being compassionate was out of the vocabularies of our current leaders, it is always the
privileged who are prioritized and the lower class, disregarded. Law is the law, being the
administrations motto but we see unequal applications of the law wherein the law enforcers and
the ruling class are the violators and not sanctioned, while the common and poor citizens
experience harsh applications of the so called law.

It is important that we as a student and future professionals that we will uphold justice and
equality through various responsible means. As for our generation, we grew up developed by
fighting for what is right and is beneficial for the people. Serve the people, serve the country.
