When I came  (come) home , I found that my family  had already finished (already,

When I told (tell) that I have (have) a little difficulty with conditional sentences at that time, Mr.

me a short written test. I was (be) delighted to find that I hadn’t made (not make) a single

When I came(come) home last night ,my brother had already gone(already, go ) to

bed, but my sister was still doing (still do ) her homework. ” I have been working

(work) for the last two hours, she said. If I weren’t ( not be) so tired , I could work (can

work ) much faster. I wish I had begun my homework earlier.” When I looked at what

she had done ( do ) so far, I saw (see) that she had  made (make) several mistakes. I

told (tell) her to read again very carefully and if she could not  find (can find) the

mistakes, I would point (point) them out to her. After I had had (have) something to eat,

she showed (show) it to me again. I saw (see)  that she had found (find) all the
