Weigh the pros and cons of separate and combined sewerage system and in less than
four sentences, summarize your arguments on which is a better design for Baguio City.

A separate sewerage system is suitable in urban areas like Baguio City. Though it's
more expensive than the combined sewerage system, it has long term benefits like
preventing the overflow of wastewater to the environment. This sewerage system
becomes more efficient for health aspects because it provides a high hygiene and
comfort level. Moreover, since sanitary sewer and storm sewer are transported
separately, surface run-off and rainwater, and other nutrients and energy can be easily
recycled.
