Subject: - Carfication regarding payment of claims under ABVKY in cases where employers show “0” contribution for employees for some time after termination oftheir service and exits them from system ata later stage Reg. Si, In the recent meeting of Employees’ State insurance Corporation on 07.12.2020 an Hon'ble "Member raised the issue that even after actually terminating an employee, the employer continues to file the contribution with “0” number of working days and “O" wages in his respect due to which the concerned employee is not being considered eligible for relief under Atal Seemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana (aavey), Instances have also been reported in which the employers have shown “0” contribution for ‘employees for some time after termination of job but exited them from system at a later stage Le. the ‘employee hadindeed become unemployed in the month from where ling of "0" contribution was started but the employer actually exited him from the system at later stage, in some cases even after 46 months. The issue has been examined and it has been decided that in cases where the employer has shown "0" contribution in respect of an employee for some time before exiting him from the system the claim of relief under ABVKY, If led, for the months for which “O” contribution has been fled shall also be allowed after due verification. However, it should be ensured that only those benefidries wha have been exited from the rolls ofthe employer, even at later date, are considered for payments under ABVKY subject to fulfilment of other eligibility conditions. Further itis requested to depute Branch Managers/ SSOs to advise the employers under your respective jurisdiction to exit those employees whose services have been terminated by them from their rolls/ system immediately so that the payrment of relief under ABVKY be made to such eligible claimants.
