1. Can you tell us a bit about yourself and the work that you do? How did you come to be an
opera conductor?

2. How did you/the Sibelius Academy come about choosing this project?

3. Why do you think that opera is a good medium to portray political/scientific messages?
a. Do you think that opera is more effective at portraying these messages than other art
forms, or do you think that the people opera reaches are unique in some way?
