13 AMENDMENT

This amendment in simple terms states that slavery is basically

illegal. passed by the Senate on April 8, 1864; by the House on January
31, 1865; and ratified by the states on December 6, 1865—abolished
slavery “within the United States, or any place subject to their
jurisdiction.” Goggle sources tells me.
The amendment states the only reason a person should be
treated as a slave is if they are being punished for a crime.
