Emissions
During charging, the drive battery emits a mixture of oxygen and hydrogen (detonating gas). This gas
mixture is explosive and it must not be ignited. The risk of explosion can be avoided through sufficient
ventilation and by avoiding naked flames. Follow the safety precautions for handling the drive battery.

Speed reduction when steering
(Curve Speed Control)**
Functional description
DANGER
Before using this feature, familiarize yourself
with this changed driving and steering
behaviour of the truck.
The physically-given stability limits still remain
in force despite this feature (curve speed
control).
6026ba-002
This applies in particular in the following situations:
- driving too fast in curves on uneven or sloping
164 456-10.03
lanes
- spinning the steering wheel while driving
- driving in curves with an insufficiently secured
load
- driving too fast in curves on a slippery or wet
lane
In these cases, the truck can tip over in an extre-
me situation!
©
DANGER
Do not turn off the key switch while driving.
This turns off the controller and the speed is no
longer reduced when steering.
The same danger arises if the emergency stop
button is operated or the controller is defective.
Therefore, always adapt your driving style to
the driving situation and do not allow yourself
to be induced to put your safety at risk.
NOTICE
This feature ensures that the truck only drives
slowly when the load is raised.
DANGER
Before using this feature, familiarize yourself
with this changed driving and steering
behaviour of the truck. The truck can either
have a different acceleration and/or braking
behaviour.

truck stability.
However, do not inflate the tires immediately.
The inflation pressure may have gone down
because of damage to the rim. If the rim is
damaged or cracked and the tires are inflated,
there is danger that the rim will break when
the tire is under high pressure, and this may
cause personal injury or death.
For safety, when checking tire pressure, place
your body in front of the tread face of the tire.
Do not check from the side face of the tire.
Suitable qualifications are needed for tire
inflation work. Always have the work carried
out by properly qualified personnel.
The tire inflation pressure on a forklift truck
is several times higher than the pressure on
an automobile. When the tires are being
inflated, there is danger that dirt or dust may
be thrown up by the compressed air and enter
your eyes.
Always wear safety glasses to protect your
eyes.

Checking the lift chains for condition and
wear, lubricating
NOTICE
Never compensate tire wear by adjusting lift chain
tension!
Adjust the lift chains only if elongation - 3 percent
maximum - is due to wear.
CAUTION
If lift chains can no longer be retightened,
replace them together with all related
connecting parts.
Please contact your Service.
Adjust chain
CAUTION
Be sure the tension of the left and right chains
is the same. If the tension is not the same,
the load will be unbalanced even if it is loaded
correctly in the center, and there is danger
that the lift truck may tip.

- Cant the fork carriage in the mast channel.
- Measure the clearance between the mast channel
and the roller with a feeler gauge.
Top roller:
