OBJECTIVES OF THE CASE

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

At the end of the student-family relationship, the adopted family will be able to improve their living
ways and health status. The family will become health literate and self-reliant in developing abilities to
deal with their health needs and health problems independently and can maintain their health through
appropriate interventions, as well as better management of problems and unexpected situations.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

After 1 month of a combined home visit and virtual student-family interaction, the student will be able
to:

1. Established and maintained rapport with the family.

2. Participate actively during home visits and virtual interaction.

3. Gathered information needed as a basis for the family nursing care plan.

4. Identified potential health conditions and problems that may affect their ways of living.

5. Categorized the identified health problems as health preparedness, health threats, health deficits,
stress points, or foreseeable crises.

6. Deliberately ranked identified problem by utilizing the criteria of Scale Ranking of health condition.

7. Formulated nursing care plan necessary for the identified problem and give solution to the existing
health problems.

8. Implement cautiously the said intervention to the family considering the student nurses' capabilities
and the family resources.

9. Carry out the planned interventions together with the family and student nurses.

10. Evaluate the outcomes of the intervention.
