It’s about a young man who during his childhood suffered a lot of
abuse from his mother, this forced him to develop multiple
personalities that protected him from that pain and trauma. But
some of their personalities are getting out of control and planning
something very bad, and none of the other 20 personalities can
avoid it and all they can do is notify their therapist via alert emails.

Meanwhile, Dennis' personality, an obsessive compulsive controller,

Patricia's personality a religious fanatic and Hedwig a spoiled child,
plan to bring another personality “the beast” and to do so they have
to do a ritual that involves the sacrifice of two impure teenagers.

But luckily Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy), a third girl, ends up being part
of this kidnapping and while trying to escape Kevin's multiple
personalities, everything gets out of control and at the same time the
story raises the idea that this Disease is the border between being
superhuman.
