About this task
Administering
client machines If you use IBM Content Navigator to connect to IBM FileNet® Content
for IBM Content
Navigator Manager repositories, you can include your IBM Content Navigator database
in the online backup of your IBM FileNet P8 system.
If you use IBM Content Navigator to connect to IBM Content Manager or
IBM Content Manager OnDemand, or if you do not run an online backup of
your IBM FileNet P8 system, you must back up your IBM Content Navigator
system offline.
If you are using Box as a repository in IBM Content Navigator, work with Box
and refer to the service-level agreement (SLA) that you have with Box to
determine the backup strategy and frequency that meets your business
requirements and recovery point objective (RPO). If it becomes necessary
for you to restore the Box repository, contact Box to request a restore.
