2. It is primarily propelled by transportation and communication
a. Globalization can be seen to be driven by two things, transportation and
communication. Transportation allows the movement of physical trades despite its
geographical distances. Meanwhile, communication allows exchange of
messages, information, and ideas. Both aims to ease the exchange between
involved parties. With such, these two processes are widely evident during
globalization.
3. It has always been evident in the past
a. The use of the term globalization only received its trend within the past few
decades but the process itself has always been evident in the past. Since
globalization involves exchange of things in any manner, local history itself has
been seen to practice such process. On great example would be the Manila
Acapulco Galleon Trade. Spaniards brought their ships, together with their goods,
to exchange with the locals. That incidence of the past, which involved trade
between two nations, is an example of globalization.

a. Another significance of globalization is that it promotes the idea of development
in many aspects. The exchange of information and culture between countries is
like brainstorming. The suggestions and comments gained from various
perspectives creates a well-thought idea which is necessary for development.
